I highly recommend this hotel in central Kyoto where I stayed in for 13 nights. All the staff are friendly. I recommend the breakfast where you find so much variety. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sleep wear provided. The roof terrace felt very peaceful and relaxing to sit in the evening after a day of sightseeing. There are vending machines in the hotel and seven eleven next door. The station and bus stop are only a minutes a walk away. If I ever visited Kyoto again I would definitely return to this hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. From the cleanliness, to the decorations, to the friendly/helpful staff, the hotel did their best to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the bathhouses, which we made sure to visit every night to rest after a long day of exploring Kyoto. The hotel advertises many places/activities you can explore in the area, such as the nearby gardens or fish market. Our family visited the fish market even though it wasn't on our original itinerary, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is a ~5 minute walk to the train station. Overall, we would love to return to this hotel if we ever return to Kyoto.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emion. The hotel is very new and the facilities are awesome such as viewing the washer and the Onsen availability on our room TV! The location was excellent via JR train. It's just a few minutes walk. A 7-11 is very near by too. I do have to say there were 2 days our room wasn't cleaned very well. The hotel tote bags were scattered across the room on the sofa and the floor. A tray of finished sushi was left by the room entrance but they did not throw it out. Overall we were very happy staying at Hotel Emion. I have recommended it to my friends.

This was a nice property. Nice restaurants below the hotel. Not the greatest location in terms of the major tourist hotspots (which might be a good thing for some!) but it is adjacent to the train line that goes to the bamboo forest out west and one train stop away from the main Kyoto train station.

The best hotel in terms of amenities, shopping and dining options. The hotel gave us vouchers to use for most of the restaurants inside the building. There’s a sky bridge that connects the hotel and the train station. The rooms are large compare to average hotels. There is an onsen and sauna which is great after a long day. There’s a great yakiniku restaurant in the building and also a great reasonable priced sushi restaurant. There’s also a bridge that connects the hotel to the fish market. It’s worth to see especially in the morning business hours, when the fishermans are packing and cleaning all kinds of fish from all over areas in Japan. Very edicational and interesting to see and it’s free of charge. There’s a very nice rooftop with sofas, chairs and tables for picnic or watch the sunset. You can see Kyoto’s view from the rooftop. Very beautiful both day and night. Hotel is new and clean. They have the automatic door with guest’ hotel keycard before entering the elevator, extra secure. There are so many dining options just outside/next from the hotel. The lobby area is huge and comfortable. There’s many shopping just inside the building, desserts shop, coffee shop. They gave us vouchers for coffee or other welcome drinks. The best hotel out of 5 hotels wr stayed at and reasonable price. The hotel also up graded us to be bigger room with a sofa.

Very clean and large rooms! Amazing hot spring bathhouse! Breakfast was delicious and had lots of Japanese and Western options. The only thing that could have made the hotel even better would have been a gym.
