The floors were sticky and they only provided plastic reusable plastic slippers that felt dirty and old. The bath tub was also clogged. The bathroom had a weird layout, where the toilet was separated from the shower and the door won't stay open.

Great location but still was quiet at night. Super easy to get to all main locations in kyoto. The room was huge and plenty of room to open luggage. I liked how the toilet was separate from the shower.

The location is excellent, the staff helpful and attentive and the rooms comfortable and large by Japanese standards. The only negative I saw is that there is a very small lobby and doesn’t appear to be anywhere to store luggage. The lobby was typically chaotic

Hotel is in a very convenient location for shopping. Staff were very friendly, loved the extra amenities available down by the front desk - lotions, tea, toiletries. One suggestion is to have better pillows and to provide two pillows/bed. My son also said the mattress was not comfortable for the sofa bed. The elevator bell could also be heard in our room so note to light sleepers!
