Giving this hotel a 5-star because it had everything we needed such a toiletries, robe, breakfast, and more!… most importantly, our room had a smart TV with Netflix/Hulu AND a free shuttle service to the Golden Temple and the Bamboo Forest/Monkey Forest! As a first time tourist, little things like this really makes a hotel stand out compared to the thousands of others. The only thing they could work on is providing tourists with general travel information, recommendations, tours etc since we didn’t feel as supported. Staff could improve on their English to communicate better.

Highly recommend this property. The staff was very courteous and nice. The amenities were nice, the location is perfect - just across the Marutamachi station, so very central to everything. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

very good basic hotel. no frills but very small room evern for Japan Standard. The area was quite but a little out of the action to be honest. its a 1400 Yen taxi from Gion. I would choose to be a little closer to Gion if I was going again

Breakfast was superb, front staff super friendly and the location is extremely convenient for public transit. The king size bed was perfect for 2 adults and a baby. I would definitely stay here again.

I love staying at hotel Monday. Room is spacious. It’s close to subway station and 15-20 minutes from tourist spots. Love that they provide free shuttle to bamboo forest and golden temple. Would definitely stay here again next time.

Convenient location, 1-2 minutes walk from 2 subway exits, a lot of restaurant choices around, and a family Mart at the corner. Room is clean, bedding is comfortable, and staffs are friendly. If there are two or more pillows provided, I would give 5 star for everything.

Staff are excellent with utmost respect and attention but unfortunately appears not well coordinated inspite of earlier email conversations we had witg the hotel. Image on the site were decieving noting that room assigned to us is much smaller that what is expected on the amount of person we booked. Free shuttle and breakfast is included. Basic amenities and welcome drinks are also available in the lobby. Special thanks to Lina and the rest of tge staff who gave us great info of the city while keeping our luggage safe.
