Fabulous, clean hotel in Kyoto with one of the best onsen I experienced in Japan. Great breakfast and overall best of Japanese culture from the staff's hospitality to courtesy tabe socks in the room and soba noodles served in the evenings.

Nice, clean property. Booked 2 rooms. Queen room was small. Twin room for our sons was a nice size. Hotel, although busy, has a relaxed atmosphere with no shoes and socks only environment. Some guests walk around hotel in the provided pajamas. Breakfast was decent. Plenty of choices. Didn’t have time to try the onsen. Free ramen at night could use some meat and toppings but it's free. Staff very, very helpful.

Best onsen ever!
I love this hotel! One of the best onsen I've ever been to. They have a wide variety of baths which are open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the next day. Most of the staff speaks fluent English, so don't worry if are Japanese isn't very good. The beds are extremely firm, so if you need more cushion for your back, keep this in mind. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!
