The only issue we had was the laundry service. There is only 3 units in the entire hotel and they take too long to do a load. Also, some guests leave their finished laundry in the machines leaving them unusable until you call the front to empty the machine.

a lovely space for two people. The rooms were simple but calm and comfortable. We went for a double room with a small table and the small table was great for nights when we had dinner or snacks in our room.

This was a nice hotel; close by to train stations and buses that can get you to where you need for the tourist attractions and many other non-touristy areas. It's also within walking distance of Nishiki Market, main streets, and Kamo River area. Across the Kamo River would be the Gion District and can access the other temples and shrines. Close by to a 7-Eleven and other restaurants for dine-in or takeout. They had umbrellas handy by the main entrance for guests to borrow for any sudden rainy weather! Free amenities in the hotel lobby as well.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Our room was more spacious than others we’ve stayed at in Japan. An assortment of amenities were available including Pajamas, face and hair products! There is a limited amount of laundry machines and microwaves though so it’s better to take advantage of local laundry services or convenience store microwaves to save time.

Lovely and quiet
Lovely clean and quiet hotel, walking distance to train station and central kyoto. Lots of vegan and vegetarian cafes nearby. Check in and out was friendly and easy.

Awesome hotel to stay at if you’re in Kyoto! Staff are as super friendly and check in process was very easy! All shops, dining and night life are very walkable and the area is very safe. Would stay here again!
