Great views of the Volcano from the property and the staff was very nice. The hot springs and pool are really nice. The grounds are nicely kept but the room i stayed in was a bit dated and needs some work. Room 203 and 202 the Superior rooms both had issues. Start with 203. The plumbing was bad in the bathroom causing the toilet to run until you manually jiggle the handle to stop it. The shower was in bad shape. The room had an odor, the walls were a bit dirty, the beds had no headboards just a mattress and a frame pushed against the wall, the cable box hung from the tv and the tv only had 3 or 4 channels with English. Room 202 the A.C unit didnt get cold, the hot water hardly worked, and 1 day the shower water still ran after being turned off. We didnt stay in the rooms much so changing rooms or hotels would have been more of a hassle so we made do with what we had.

My family really enjoyed the property. It was clean, well maintained, great for families and the pool and hot springs were amazing. Ranging from hot to warm/cool, we enjoyed it and very relaxing even if there was many people, which there wasent. There was enough hot springs that it did not feel crowded. So glad we stayed here the hospitality was perfect and close to every excursion we wanted to do. It was so nice to have a parking spot right next to our room making it convenient to bring the kids in and out on rainy nights or when they are exhausted from a long fun day! The walk to the restaurant and food area was not far either.

Very nice property, we first had a room that smelled terrible but they quickly changed rooms for us. This resort is a bit dated and rough around the edges but nice for the cost. The food was ok but over priced, which was ok considering the convenience of having a restaurant on sight

Very friendly staff. Our room was right off the road which was unfortunate and noisy. The hot springs were very nice but the menengitis warnings were helpful but scary! I read other local hotels test the water which would be something I would have liked to know about before.

We checked in late in the evening, just in time to grab dinner before the restaurant closed. Our only option was the main restaurant as the snack bar had closed early before the posted time. Unfortunately, the mattresses on our beds sagged and lacked support, and the sheets were made of polyester. The hotel is dated and felt a bit run down. The walls are thin and you can hear neighboring guests coughing, flushing toilet, etc. On the bright side, the shower provided lots of hot water, the air conditioning worked well and we slept peacefully. Breakfast was served buffet-style in a large dining hall, which was full and very loud. The highlight of our stay was a relaxing soak in the thermal pools with a stunning views of the volcano before we checked out. We were the only ones in the pools, making it a special and tranquil experience.

The hotel is fantastic. All the hot springs are real and amazing!! they have plenty of temperature options on the hotel springs including the one in the main area where there is a pool bar. Hotel is close to Arenal volcano and other attractions Drinks and food are good and safe We didn't have hot/warm water for 2 days. the first day was a bit warm but the second day the water was cold. we spoke with reception and we were told that in 1hr it would be fine but it wasn't. Other than that it was great!!
