The staff was great! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! Great location! Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants which is what I was interested in! The rooms were clean and comfortable! Everything worked great! They are renovating the rooms so I would love to go back and see when they are done!

Hotel was far shabbier than I expected based on reviews, pictures, presentation on Expedia. My room had not been cleaned - there were big chunks of some sort of food under a table. There is massive major transformative construction going on that makes it impossible to think straight starting at 8:15 each day. Also, somewhat damningly, Expedia told me that the hotel had an airport shuttle. When I emailed to ask, the hotel said no. You can't tell me that they don't know Expedia is saying this... and it should be corrected if it's not true.

The hotel location is very convenient. It’s easy to walk to La Jolla Cove and surrounding restaurants without driving. The parking space in La Jolla cove area is very tight.
