First let’s start with the room itself. The room felt bland. It had a mini fridge that barely cooled, a tv that didn’t work, and no microwave (standard in most hotels but for a $$$$ hotel, I would think it would come with one) to heat our left overs. The shelving looked to be falling apart. There was also an ice bucket but no ice machines? Not sure how that works.
Second, the stay itself. The hotel does not have a parking lot. You are forced to use their valet parking which charges $45 dollars per night and still expect tip.
There were two separate instances of workers walking into our room while we were in there. First occurrence was on the first night there well after room service hours. Second occurrence was on our last day before checking out. When we asked the front desk for a manager the, the man there stated he was the manager, I informed him that we were unhappy with our stay. After explaining what happened he tried to make less of the situation, eventually apologizing and reluctantly offered to removed two nights of our forced valet parking ($90).
Third, the hotel. For a $$$$ there is no breakfast included. There is a gym and pool that they use but it is in another building in the back and you need to get permission to use it.
