WiFi did not work in our room. TV remote control did not work either, I told in reception and they gave me a new one in same condition
Blankets were a bit itchy in my skin for some reason, matress was good and bathroom was clean.
Price is ok for what you get, maybe you are lucky and get a room with good WiFi.
Woman in reception is a bit rude.

ONE NIGHTCLUB TOO FAR!
The room and hostel were yards away from the nightclub in town. From 7.p.m. until 3 a.m. the open doors and overspill of the nightclub and the constant noise plus the exhaust fumes from revving cars which entered the room through blinds and ill-fitting windows left us with headaches and little sleep. Do not stay in this hostel on a Friday or Saturday if you can avoid it. Beware also that the Reception staff don't appear to start until 10.a.m. leaving a night watch man who can do little which meant that the morning we had only cold water we had to wait until the daytime staff could be called to have something done about it. Anything but a good experience Double glazing would be a good start folks!!!
Good, clean budget hostal. Close to Gibraltar. Really comfy beds, hot water and nice and quiet. Friendly staff and we was able to check in early too. Down side was there was an awful wiff in the lobby but ok in our room and the telly was really small and wouldn't turn on ( we wasn't bothered as didn't spend much time in the room anyway). Overall really ok for the price we paid.
Room clean and comfortable, bed linen/towels changed daily, room cleaned daily, fan and air con if needed, would be nice to have tea / coffee making facilities, think they are working on a dining area now tho and be similar to Carlos 1.

Great value
Arrived late and disappointed to find wifi not working but was fixed in about an hour. Was not able to figure out where the drain smell came from except it did not seem to be the bathroom. Needs a non slip mat for the bath and a better way to stop shower spray soaking floor. Comfortable bed and friendly staff.
Stayed 3 nights with partner and four friends... All had rooms next to each other. Very clean, towels changed every day and beds made up.
In the heart of everything we needed.. 15 mins walk into gibralter (we were there for the festival).
If you are looking for a quiet location this is not the place for you!! We enjoyed every minute!!
We had 3 rooms which were all together and on the 3rd flike. The lift was just outside and worked perfectly. The room I was in had a bath/shower and bidet. There was an air conditioning unit and a tv. Bed was very comfy and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Staff at the desk 24hrs and were very helpful. Altogether for cost I was very impressed.

One night in La Linea
The room was comfortable but in a very noisy neighbourhood. I didn´t like it.
we were only there for 3 days stayed 2 service in hotel was bad we were told that they spoke our language well we saw 3 receptionist and not one could understand what we asked even though i speak a little spanish the tv didnt work the air conditioning laughable the toilet was so small that if one of us was using it nobody else could get in. there was only one sheet one the beds .the aera itself was close to gibralter which is what we wanted but found the locals very unhelpful dont understand that when were spending money there . i would not stay there again
Good all round experience. Excellent value restaurant.

An affordable Gibraltar holiday option.
Everything you expect from a hostel. Room did the job and was close enough (about a 10 minute walk) to Gibraltar border to make it all very easy. Also near a few reasonable, if lifeless, bars and restaurants, to keep you entertained if you choose to spend an evening or two in La Linea.
we think this Hostal is used to house the homeless, don't have a problem with this but was very noisy in the night. Bearing in mind the cost you can't expect 5 stars. Obviously a old hotel with the owner trying his best to make ends meet.
I had last minute meeting in Gibraltar and this was the only hotel I could find at short notice. I stayed there for 1 night. To be fair, it does not advertise itself as The Ritz, so I shouldn't have expected much. The room was clean enough, but stank of smoke. There was no hot water, but the AC worked and wasn't noisy. The bed and mattress were old, but not uncomfortable. I got the feeling that the bed linen hadn't been washed properly, but that could have been down to the fact that everything smelt of smoke.
The location of the hotel is good. It is near the main square of La Linea (with lots of restaurants and bars) and only a 10-15 min walk to Gibraltar border.
If you're a backpacker, you'll be satisfied with your choice of hotel. If you're on a business trip, don't leave it until the last minute and book something better!
Close enough to walk to Gibraltar, near bus statio
Good place to stay, but dangerous lighting on steps. The auto-on lights are good, but you have to walk in the dark for a few steps before each one comes on.
Nada silencioso:Pub cercano, se oye musica toda la noche, tambien se oye todo dentro del hotel.
TV, no funcionaban casi ningun canal.
Nos prestaron una plancha d ropa (son amables, eso sí), pero no funcionaba.
No todas las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado.
