Ibis - Toulon.
Helpful staff. Tesla super chargers on site. Good food & excellent wine for dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was very tasty. However, our room was decidedly old-fashioned & the bathroom tiny. Couldn’t get two people in it simultaneously. Bath was tiny. Hotel well-positioned near motorway for drive across France.

It has a supercharger for Tesla so as we are traveling in a a Tesla it is very convenient. It was quite new, so it was good quality and looks fresh and clean. The area is somewhat not so good - but there are lots of really nice areas around (Sanary-sur-Mer is my favourite). We had a family room (I think they all are the same though - you just make the sofa to a bed...). The breakfast was very simple. It is nice for kids. Had a small play area inside and outside - in addition to the pool.

Very family oriented with a indoor and outdoor play area. The hotel restaurant is part of a chain, respectable dinner. Very good for families. Right off highway and not near any attractions.

Good value for a short stay if travelling by car
Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. OK breakfast. Hotel has a parking lot but can be difficult to find. No convenient public transport options nearby. Location is a bit disappointing if you are not aware the hotel is within an industrial area close to a highway.

Family holiday
Used the hotel as a base for touring back from Florence in Italy on way home to England travelling back through France. It was ideal as a base for 2 nights stopping over to explore Toulon and the beaches near to it

This was a clean and friendly hotel. I was greeted by friendly front of house staff. The restaurant food was very nice I would definitely recommend the club sandwich. The swimming pool was a good addition. I would definitely stay there again.

Right Hotel, Wrong Location
This was a nice hotel, up to usual Novotel standards and a good price. However, it is out in the sticks of Toulon. The only real option, (that I was offered anyway), to get into the city centre was a taxi. This was usually EUR 25.00 - EUR 30.00. However, Toulon is not overflowing with taxis, so I ran into issues whereby they would name their price when they were busy, which meant paying considerably more than on the meter. This was a shame as we had a great weekend and met brilliant people, (apart from taxi drivers, Toulonnais are VERY friendly people), and the city itself is lovely. This hotel would be great if you were doing business in the immediate area, but you should get a downtown hotel if that is where you predominantly plan to be. Before you ask, I had no option but to stay here during a busy rugby weekend, as all other hotels closer to town had been booked-up.
