Beautiful La Spezia

20 steps from the front door you can go left or right for blocks and there are restaurants, bars, clothin,,shops shoe stores, pharmacies, corner stores everywhere. Its a 10min mostly flat walk from the train station. Another 10 min walk the other way again flat is the harbour and its busy, tour boats, sailboats, mega yachts, cruise ships, freighters, navy ships. And its the gateway to Cinque Terre a beautiful National Park

Nice location and helpful staff

The location is a plus, just walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Despite being close to the action the room was surprisingly quiet once you close the storm curtains and fully close the windows. However, the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. My wife tried to use the hand shower to wash her hair and the hose was full of black mold. All the black mold got into her hair! To be fair we mentioned it and the next day they tried to clean it as best as they could. The shower drain was also clogged and despite we mentioned it never got fixed :(

The owners are amazing! Were incredibly flexible and allowed us to store our luggage for the day after checkout free of charge. Great proximity to the train station making Cinque Terre a breeze. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing stay in La Spezia

Great location in La Spezia, just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very centrally located in the main town area, close to supermarkets and lots of restaurants. Easy communication in the lead up to check in, and friendly cleaning staff. Modern and clean room - something to note is that the shower is very tight (coming from an average sized female). Not fully soundproofed, you get a bit of street noise and can hear the floor above when they move around but didn't affect my sleep at all. This was the perfect base to explore Cinque Terre, wish we could have stayed longer!
