Not a good place to stay
The room was dirty, trash under a chair, floors was really sandy. Dirty tub, blood on the shower curtain. Drain plugged. I puked a huge hair ball out of it. Heater made noise. The pool water was green. We did NOT have good hot water in the sink or shower both nights. Went to the front desk one night and the girl LEFT the property and came back 20 min later. Left the hotel unattended. It was a total WAIST of money. I have photos to back this up. It's not letting me add them to this.

No hot water. They were installing one after we left. The front desk was nice about it but doesn’t make up for not having any hot water to take a shower. Stayed for 2 days makes in very inconvenient and wasn’t offered any discount or nothing.

Our stay at Clare
We booked to go to an event in Mount Pleasant. The hotels there were overpriced. This hotel in Clare was a short drive to the University and we were very impressed with every aspect of this hotel. Will definitely book for future trips.😊👍

My son is huge on pools, if it's cold I refuse to get in, this pool was comfortable and warm! Hot tub was working and felt even better!

I thought the limited staff did an excellent job and the continental breakfast was very well supplied. The maid service and front desk staff are top notch. The management company needs to do better at staffing the facility and taking care of the employees.

The "hot breakfast" is not diabetic friendly. Choice was waffles, toast, cereal, donut holes.....carbs. Drove 10mins to The Nest for an actual breakfast. Was disappointed.
