Wonderful stay near Lake Louise! Beautiful area. Would highly recommend this place. We loved our room it was so cozy! A must stay in the area. We had everything we needed. Great room service and walkable to everything. Great hospitality!

The dining is fabulous and if you stay at the hotel you can order a la carte as opposed to their huge 4 course option. My wife and i saved over $100 by ordering only what we wanted.

Location is perfect away from crowds, but close to main attractions Lake Louie & Moraine with shuttle services. Restaurants are also excellent.

The hotel is really nice! We did not have parking issues and staff were wonderful. Our stay was for only one night and wish it had been longer. They also have thier own shuttle to morraine lake which is very decently priced. It is away from lake louise so you need a car or take public transit.

This is a lovely hotel with old world charm. Our room was a bit on the small side but very cozy with a working fireplace. The staff we encountered throughtout our one night stay were excellent. You feel pampered the minute you walk in the door. We had dinner in the lovely dining room. It's fine dining and it was amazing!

Post Hotel is exceptional!
The Post Hotel is posh. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive. We especially loved that after a snowfall, a bellhop came out to help de-ice our car. Now that is service! We did take advantage of the shuttle to Moraine Lake which is $30CA per person. They offered to have a bellhop take us to Lake Louise, but we opted not to use that. They have bear spray for you to take on hike so ask about that at the front desk. Although they do not have a complimentary breakfast, we liked the apples and flavored water in the lobby. A tea and coffee service were available in the morning and late afternoon (tea only). We spent multiple trips to the hot tub which was an extra special perk. The fitness room is nice, but many of the machines were out of order. Free weights and treadmill were available. The lounge area by the fireplace is a peaceful place to unwind and relax. Our room was very comfortable. We wish there was a refrigerator and microwave, but every other amenity was accounted for. The balcony was a special treat too! I am certain this is the best accommodation in the Lake Louise area. You will not be disappointed!

The front of the hotel is adjacent to a heavily traveled rail line. We were in the front of the hotel. The room was very hot and stuffy. We had to open the windows and we heard every single train that went by all night long.

Definitely would stay here again!
Nostalgic, welcoming and cozy entrance. Check in was quick and easy. Key to your room is actually a heavy brass key! Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The jet tub and shower had excellent water pressure and the hot water supply was perfect. In the evening, 2 hotel staff members came to the door with complementary snacks and drinks. The pool and sauna were wonderful! Robes and house slippers were provided in the room. Great view of the mountains and surrounding restaurants were good. Lake Louise is nearby!

This hotel is awesome! Old school elegance with rustic charm. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful , the grounds were beautiful and comfortable, and the food at the restaurants is delicious! My wife and I will absolutely be coming back here again!

C’est un hôtel avec un charme désuet où il manque plusieurs commodités pour un voyageur. Pas de prise de courant pour brancher nos appareils électroniques. Le bain tourbillon n’est plus au goût du jour et rend la douche très dangereuse. L’endroit est sombre et mal éclairé et la literie ordinaire. Il n’y a pas d’air climatisé. De plus le train passe juste derrière et fait un bruit infernal!!! Vraiment beaucoup trop cher pour le confort donné.
