Loved our stay. The room wss very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and huge shower. The hotel is very dog friendly and has beautiful walking trails right behind it. It is approximately 15 minute walk from downtown Lake Placid and close to everything you need.

The noise level was very bad as walls are VERY thin. I heard a baby cry during the night 2 hours straight. They have an AC. That runs all night even in cold weather to lower the bey high temperatures in the room!! It si very loud and very cold. My toilet was overflowing and I was told to take a plunger and do it myself. I didn’t agree to that and they finally came to fix the issue. Breakfast is ok, nothing extraordinary. Butt you have to request housecleaning the night before. With all those factors combined, with the noise being the most important one, I will not be coming back to this hotel. My family agreed too.

This is a well kept hotel that's not too far away from downtown Lake Placid and close to a grocery store, which came in handy for buying food for a hike nearby. I was a little annoyed they stuck me in a room with an adjoining door, where I could hear people in the next room, but it wasn't the end of the world. The rooms are nice, clean, and in very good condition, and the food at the restaurant downstairs is excellent. I was actually surprised and ate their twice. I'd recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Said pet friendly on the hotel website and on Expedia. No mention of a fee. At check they said $75 us for a pet. I asked them to show me where that was indicated and even got the on staff manager and they. Oils only find it hidden in the frequently asked questions area of the website. Meaning if you didn’t click on the faq you would never see it. Plus the pool had an underwater light that had come loose and was hanging by its electrical wire in the water. Scared us and we exited the pool as fast as possible

The hotel is stunning and offers excellent amenities. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially towards our little dog. All cleaning staff were also super friendly too. The restaurant serves delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner, and manager Jeff was consistently present to ensure we were having a great dining experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated with Adirondack mountain themes and feature the most comfortable beds I've experienced in a hotel. We highly recommend staying at the Cambria!
