It was sufficient for what we needed. We had our well behaved medium sized dog traveling with us and we needed a place near our family That was staying in a house nearby. Our room was spacious and clean - provided what we needed.

Well so much confusion booked thru hotel.com unfortunately I booked a two room suite and ended up with a family room,desk person knew absolutely nothing about anything and he said sorry no manager for three days then they will call you? Room was clean and short distance to town and Acadia park.it claims to be a hotel and Inn it’s just a giant Motel all rooms in one line everyplace.saddest part was Breakfast with all the rooms and the food area is a little building set aside and if you don’t get there early you won’t eat they were booked solid and I mean solid they can’t get food out fast enough and they ran out of food even toast,no muffins sausage ran out not the cooks fault they just didn’t have enough food on hand to feed the bookings.so I would say room was clean don’t waste money on a suite check out your booking by calling the motel and verify your reservation and booking.there are plenty of places to stay closer to town cheeper and have a good breakfast!

Pretty close to the park so that’s awesome. Most of the staff was so nice one lady not so much. We brought our dog and got a dog room as we always do and it smelt so bad of pee we left early and couldn’t get any money back so that’s a bummer:) if it was like $200 bucks not $400 a night it probably wouldn’t have been as big of a deal.

Gentleman host at breakfast is the biggest asset to the hotel. He’s wonderful and very attentive to everyone. The negative, the hotel is showing its age and wear and tear. Needs updating. I came out of the shower expecting to be able to use hair dryer. It took 30 minutes and my husband to finally track someone down to provide a working hair dryer. Next our TV was not working. We were told no maintenance employee were working. We were changed to another room. In the end, after staying at this hotel for multiple years, we were disappointed in the decline.
