Staff was friendly & helpful, and loved that it was historic (charm). The mirror was streaky & could have been cleaned better. Found a couple items left behind that should have been disposed of by cleaning staff. The tub & surround needed replaced and there were no bath towels only hand towels.

The layout was unique. But the rooms, buildings, and landscaping are in desperate need of updating. Our room was dirty, the blinds were mostly broken, the towel rack was missing from the bathroom, and the half the closet door was missing.

This must have been a really lovely property at one time. The grounds are still very nice and taken care of. The rooms could use some updating but the beds were super comfortable and the bedding was nice. It’s a great location near the outlets and many antique markets. The pool is a bonus and the price was right.

When we checked in to get our key the staff was friendly. We went around town and handled some business. A few hours later when we finally went to our room, passing overflowing trashcans as we opened the entrance to the building, when we opened the door of our room we immediately noticed vomit on the carpet, what appeared to be blood on the chair and mold in the bathroom. When I called the front desk I felt disrespected with the way they were talking to me. They showed us two more rooms to switch our room. They were just as bad as the first. The young man told me that they were like that because it's their pet friendly rooms. I tried to dismiss that remark. Finally, we were shown a fourth one that was not a pet friendly room (but of all the rooms we were shown this one smelled the strongest of dogs). We thought the mold didn't look as bad as the other rooms...UNTIL we pulled back the blanket on the bed and saw what appeared to be bugs! So we abruptly left and requested a refunded. I didn't like how the young man was talking to me when I voiced my concerns. While I was in the lobby, another couple came to the desk to notify them that their air conditioner wasn't working. The couple and I exchanged our experiences with the conditions of this property and then I was yelled at for a "violation". It wasn't explained to me what I was violating. Very unsettling experience. We finally got our refund but it doesn't make the awful experience go away.

We stayed in 2 pet friendly rooms In one specific room The fridge did not work, the carpet felt moist, there was a smell, there were multiple moths, the room felt muggy, and there was dirt around the floor linings and in the bathroom. A treadmill in the fitness center didn’t work. The pool did not have towels. We requested more to the pool and they went to our room instead. The breakfast included limited options.

We got a room, with breakfast, for $75/night through Expedia. The room was OK but needed a bit of cleaning and some TLC. There were water stains on the ceiling and a sheet was torn. The ice bucket is a cheap plastic. There is no daily housekeeping, only upon request. The pool is OK but the pool towels they said should have been out were not there. The sauna works! The best thing about the breakfast is the juice and waffles. The front desk person also does the breakfast so it was difficult for him to pay close attention to either job. When asked, however, he refilled the coffee and juice. We were happy with our experience at $75/night but don't expect the same experience you would get at a $200/night hotel.

I have stayed at few diffent Hotels, and the one was far the best I have stayed at. The room was very clean and Bed was comfortable! And I enJoy continental was good. Really enjoy the waffles!

This room was filthy, was not cleaned. The floors were extremely dirty. When you sat on the toilet, the seat shifted, you almost fell on the floor You can see with the ceiling in the bathroom was leaking. The bedroom had the molding on the floor coming apart. This used to be a very nice hotel. I have to look at the new management for the condition. I love the area I have stayed here many times in the past.
