The Blue Spruce: Romantic Secluded Getaway

Newly renovated single room cabin has all you need for a peaceful or romantic getaway to rest and recharge. Gentle Breeze Cabins has 4 Cabins (and a newly added camper) on 8 acres on one of the highest altitude points in the area giving guests amazing views of hocking hills and Columbus. Great for anyone looking to experience nature and Hocking Hills. In addition to the cabin guests have access to a shared Shelter House, Grill, and group fire pit for a campground feel.

Completely remodeled cabin boasts a brand new soaking tub in front of a cozy electric fireplace, solid hardwood floors, hickory cabinets with granite countertops, leather couch, memory foam mattress, walk in slate shower, flat screen TV with roku, fully stocked kitchen with coffee bar, and wifi. Private two story deck with hot tub gives you some amazing woodsy views while enjoying our brand new hot tub. This is luxury camping!

Pets are a 1 time $65 charge.

My main issue was with the hottub. It was not clean, the cabin was smaller then expected and the furniture wasnt comfortable. Deck super small. Feel like for the price they wont they could have done better.

Hocking hills getaway
Lovely secluded cabin. Wonderful setting and just what we wanted. However, It is not designed for people who enjoy cooking. Two skillets, no pots, no oven, no microwave. It was challenging to cook.

Amazing place we really enjoyed our stay there. Everything we need towels plates etc one down fall is no vent for the stove top so it got a little smoky in there but other than that would recommend it to others and possibly stay there again in the future.

Overall, the exterior and communal pavilion and grill areas were somewhat unkept, but the inside of the cabin was very clean, very well supplied, and had that just remodeled look. Although there were a couple of other cabins close, It still felt secluded and private.

Great little cabin!
This was a perfect spot for us to explore Hocking Hills for the first time! The cabin had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed our time there. It is definitely secluded and peaceful! It took us a bit to get to the places we wanted to go, but that was clearly listed online when I booked and we didn’t mind since we got to see more around this town. I love that this was pet friendly, and we would likely bring our dog if we come back again. The only negative part of our stay was that the comforter had dog hair (expected when you’re at a pet friendly cabin) and crumbs. I wondered if the comforter was washed in between guests, and my suspicion was valid when our checkout instructions were to strip the bed but leave the comforter. It grossed me out a bit. Overall a great stay!!

Beautiful cabin
The tub in the main room is absolutely why i decided to pick this cabin, and I’m so happy I went with my gut. This cabin was absolutely beautiful, the decor really just gave it a comfortable/warm feeling to the cabin. You can tell that the owners take pride in providing a quality stay. Everything was and felt clean even with it being in the woods. The hot tub was turned on and ready for us and also very clean. It truly just made my birthday week so nice and relaxing. It’s the perfect couples getaway and my puppers loved it also. I definitely recommend this for anyone reading the review and I’ll be telling all my camping friends about it as well.

Coming to Lancaster for a wedding but wanted to hike as well.
The property is as advertised and I must say this grouping of cabins has tons of potential as the units get upgraded. It is remote and secluded as mentioned. The unit was a little smaller than I anticipated and the hot tub was nice but wished the jets had a little more power and maybe room for chairs by the hot tub. We enjoyed our visit.

Everything about this property, from the cleanliness to the care of amenities, was absolutely wonderful. The Blue Spruce will forever be a core memory for my fiance (I proposed here) and me. We absolutely cannot wait to return for another weekend of R&R!
