Except for little things like ease of checking in; no ice tray in the freezer and reading light bulb not working, this place would be a 10.

Beautiful location. Owner easily accessible if needed

Cottage was good. Expected to have a full stove not just a hot plate.

It was not the host’s fault, but the town’s major water main break meant no showering and definitely no drinking the muddy brown water flowing through the taps. He supplied four small bottles of water later the next day. He did try to keep in touch, but with the limited internet service, my phone didn’t work while inside the unit, so messages were delayed. It would have been so much better with some sun. Couldn’t really use the outdoor space.

Lovely spot but lacking amenities.
