All good, except the desk in the room has no drawer. Also, I ran out of dental floss and was told they had none to give me. Finally, the Mangrove Tour was actually 7 hours, door to door (not 4 as advertised).

The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. However, based on the featured photo taken inside of the room, facing the balcony, we thought the hotel is right on the beach but alas it was not so that was rather disappointing. The bathroom tiles could use a good scrub to remove mould and there should be shelves in the shower area for us to put our own toiletries instead of on the floor. On the 2nd day when we came back at about 3pm, the room is hasn't been refreshed so we had no water & some needed toiletries. Had to cancel our nap as we wanted it freshen up. When we called the front desk, we were told that only rooms that required check-in on that day would be given priority for freshening up. We absolutely did not expect that answer especially since it was close to 3pm. When we got back later, only the bed was made and water replenished. None of the required toiletries were replenished. Not even the floor and face towel. So, it looked like a rush job just to shut us up. The buffet selection is good and the staff there are friendly and attentive. If only housekeeping is the same.

Great stay
Family friendly hotel with spacious and clean room. Room can fit 1 additional sofa bed and 1 additional baby cot for my 4 yo and 1 yo respectively and still have plenty of room left. Great spread of breakfast as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you are visiting with young kids.

Booked 2 rooms: 805, 806. Front desk was kind to meet my request of having side by side rooms since my parents are elderlies. They provided wheelchair upon request. Easy to access room. Clean, nice view, well-kept facilities such as the gym and pool. Parking for rental cars are made easy. Breakfast spread was excellent. Service staffs are well-trained, has great initiative, and polite to guests. A few notes to improve on: porter service was not prompt even after being offered, and there were strange noises from the rooftop at random, odd hours (12mn, 1am, 6.30am, 10.30pm), which they have no idea about and has no solution to. The noises like floor scraping and floor banging was too loud to be ignored. Other than those, the stay was good. Thank you for accomodating us in Langkawi.

Very good hotel - no complaints
The hotel was very clean and well staffed. The breakfast choice was extensive. The cocktails very cheap in the bar. Pool area also very clean and didn’t seam to get too busy. The gym was very well stocked for a holiday hotel and again exceptionally clean and accessible 24/7. Our room was large with an excellent powerful shower. Couldn’t fault the hotel although the resort was a little quiet for us

I booked a premium suite unbeknownst to me that it would be at the end facing the hallway. Due to religious beliefs, I informed the hotel immediately and requested a different room. I was told that suites are at the end of hallways. We agreed to move to a standard room less expensive (we paid $438/2 nights for suite) standard room we agreed to move to was only $160/ night. I felt I should’ve been reimbursed the difference, but the hotel only offered 200 Malaysia currency and a ride to the airport. I grudgingly excepted the offer due to long traveling day. Prior to staying at this hotel, I was in Penang. I found Penang’s hotel and restaurant staff were more courteous, more attentive, and friendlier than staff at this hotel. For instance, my wife and I ordered a simple hamburger &fries and a dis of spaghetti and it took more than an hour to make. We were not given any water, we had to request. In addition, we had to ask for plates and utensils. Four staff members were socializing at the front and we had to raise our hands for assistance each time. They were not attentive as those in Penang who would come to you and asked if everything was ok. In addition, I ordered room service of dessert and it took them over an hour to deliver. All and all, I was looking to this stay and was willing to pay too dollars for room, but it was a disappointment.

Really lovely hotel! My room had worn out wallpaper, and it wasn’t always swept very well during the cleaning but otherwise the place is almost perfect! The view of the ocean was exactly as pictured, the staff were lovely and it’s only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Great breakfast, room service options are plentiful and the food arrives promptly. I would stay here again.

Love the location. At the quieter end of the island with restaurants, spa and other amenities. Seaview was excellent. The bean bags meant for room and balcony were special. We always appreciate the walk-in closet/ toilet, unique! Service at the restaurant and check-in staff were great! Thank you for making yet another trip at Aloft a memorable one. Well done to Aloft team!
