Warm hospitality in fabulous region
The hosts Christelle and Christophe were welcoming. The quiet property is located on the edge of a small village in a beautiful region. The swimming pool has an alarm system, great for families with young children.

Beautiful villa inside and outside
We spent one week at Villa Bamboo and could not fault the place. Our 5 year old son loved the heated pool. The villa is equippped with everything you could need. We visited a couple of beaches within the area and also had day trip to Avignon, Montpellier and Nimes. Would recommend this place is it outstanding.

Fantastic weekend break away
My friend and I had a really lovely weekend visit. The villa is fantastic and fully equipped with everything you could need - coffee machines, juicers, outdoor kitchen area with bbq and a modern indoor kitchen with microwave, cooker etc. We were totally happy just using the outdoor kitchen as the weather was great so we bbq'd each evening. There are 3 double bedrooms - 2 with ensuite and a separate bathroom. Living room and dining tables both inside and out. The area is very quiet so I would recommend a car, however if you are just there to totally chill, a taxi from the airport was about 30 Euro. Carrefour is around a 15 minute walk and there is a fantastic bakery at the end of the road. There's also a small restaurant next to Carrefour. Apart from that there's not much else to walk to. But is was all we needed and worked well. I would totally recommend this villa and the hosts were very helpful and lovely.

Very disappointing
My wife and I and two friends stayed for two weeks in Villa Bambou, which, on arrival appeared appeared be part of a house which had been divided into two. Unfortunately Villa Bambou was partly underneath Villa Vaunage, so with noises coming from above it was like being in an apartment. The layout was not ideal, with two bedrooms and the lounge room downstairs, and the kitchen/diner and another bedroom upstairs. The lounge room was equipped with a large TV , a sofa bed and two armchairs. The kitchen was very well equipped with all major appliances, but the refrigerator and cupboards were bare of all the minor kitchen consumables, not even a pot of salt. Our first job was to go out and buy all the basics, plus dishcloths and bin liners. We stayed in three other properties on this trip, and this was the only one where we experienced this miserly treatment. The outside area was excellent, with its heated pool, gas barbecue and five sun loungers. Langlade is well situated for the attractions of Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard(not to be missed) and the Camargue, but the village itself is not very interesting. We would not recommend Villa Bambou, but Villa Vaunage may be better.

Fantastic
We stayed in Vaunage, which is the smaller of the two villas. Smaller maybe, it still felt very spacious - and it is the one that has that fantastic view over the valley you see in the pictures. I think these have both been recently renovated - you can't see it from Google Earth if you look at the moment - and they've done a stunning job. The inside of the villa is upstairs, and the aircon unit in the lounge keeps things cool during the scorching hot summers (keep the internal doors open). The balcony outside has that amazing view, then there are the stairs down to the pool. Again, this area is bigger than I expected - the large table, chairs and BBQ is round the corner and there's a huge shade. The pool itself is a good size and was the perfect temperature - for us usually between 28 and 30 degrees, on days that were 32-34 degrees. If you have kids, I recommend bringing a few inflatables, a lilo, ball and 4 sinkers provided a week's worth of fun for us. There's an outside kitchen with a hob, sink and fridge freezer. Langdale is in a great place, it's only 15 minutes into Nimes. There is an Intermarche in the neighbouring village and a Carrefour at the roundabout at the bottom of the village, which is a good size. Best of all - the village bakery is about 4 minutes walk and the bread and pastries divine - open mornings and early evenings. It's only a shame that there's nowhere to hire bikes in the village itself, because it would have been great to use the new Voie Verte cycle route that passes through the village and goes to the neighbouring towns. There is cycle hire on the route in Calvisson, but that's some way to get to. The area in general is great, amazing climate and loads of history on the doorstep. Very much recommend the TGV. Our journey down was excellent, under 2 hours from Kent to Paris, 2 stops on the RER and under 3 hours to Nimes, most of the way at 300kph (try to book a direct service to / from Paris if you can, we missed a connection in Lyon on our return because it ran a bit late - just made it to the Eurostar in time!). We used Sixt for Car rental outside the station, and they were great too - very quick, no hassle, spoke great English. The wifi is slow - fine for finding out information, but not for watching movies, so go outside :-) Mobile reception was great though. Christophe and Christelle the owners were very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back before too long.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen sommerhafte Urlaub in diesem Haus. Die Lage (schöne Städte,Märkte,Meer alles innerhalb von 15-55 Minuten erreichbar), die Aufteilung des Hauses mit zwei Wohnbereichen,Wohnzimmer und im Obergeschoss nochmal ein Wohnbereich inklusive Küche und Esszimmer, einfach toll. Sehr zu empfehlen:)

Three good sized bedrooms, showers and toilets, large kitchen on the first floor, lots of kitchen utilities present. Kids loved the pool (still 29 degrees in October). We didn't use the outdoor kitchen but this would be nice in the summer. Hosts are very friendly and the take good care of the house

Great Pool Villa
We had a great time in this Pool Villa - very nice to have an outdoor kitchen and a heated pool. The Palm trees around the pool do generate a great atmosphere - as it was hot we also loved to have an air condition in the house. Tout était parfait : accueil dès notre arrivée, intérieur et extérieur très propre. 3 chambres avec 1 salle de bain pour chacune, ustensiles cuisine très complet. Même au mois d'octobre, la piscine a été très appréciée. Pas de vis à vis sur la propriété. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette villa. Le prix est très raisonnable compte tenu de la qualité de la maison. Nous conseillons fortement.

La villa Bambou est une très belle location à 10 km de Nîmes. La piscine chauffée est un vrai plus même quand la météo n'est pas de la partie toute la semaine ;) Il y a de la place pour une grande famille et l'équipement est complet. Nous ne pouvons que conseiller cette location.

Das gesamte Objekt ist sehr dafür geeignet, einen erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. Es gibt eine Außenküche, die wir in der 1. Urlaubswoche ausgiebig genutzt haben (Wetter war in der 2. Woche zu kühl), Pool, Liegen, Innenküche... Es war alles da, was das Urlauberherz höher schlagen lässt. Wir können das Objekt nur weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich noch einmal wiederkommen.

De vakantiewoning is zoals weergegeven op de site. Mooi huis, alles aanwezig voor een leuk verblijf. Steeds gebruik gemaakt van de buitenkeuken en BBQ. Goede ligging om verschillende uitstappen te maken. Kortom een aanrader.
