1163 Milroy Grose Rd. Lansing, WV 25862. Our luxurious Cabins are located minutes from the New River Gorge National Park and the Gauley River National Recreation Area as well as the largest lake in West Virginia. Summersville Lake 15 miles away.
We are in an outdoor recreation area offering the best in whitewater rafting, kayaking, Ziplining (We own Gravity-New River Gorge Zip Lines) Our large local outfitter operates it for us along with their many activities at Adventures on the Gorge. They offer these activities along with hiking, rock climbing, caving, biking, fishing trips and several other activities. They 2.8 miles away and have 3 restaurants along with a beautiful pool of which you receive an evening pass to, by booking a daytime activity with them. You will receive a 10% discount on any activity they offer by mentioning that Mill Creek Cabins sent you.
We have 2 cabins this size that are close to everything, but in a secluded wooded setting.
These cabins have 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each downstairs. We have 2 queens in a loft bedroom. Full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, all linens, paper products, dish and hand soap as well as a couple trash bags. If you have a large group, we suggest you bring some extra paper towels, and trash bags. Most guests do so without saying. We have a Cell Tower on the property. Free WIFI,
& a Large Smart TV. Outside we have a nice hot tub on a covered porch, a charcoal grill and picnic table. We also have a firepit for a nice evening campfire under the stars. We have wood available.
These cabins do have washers and dryers for your convenience.

A comfy cabin close to town
This is a lovely spot less than 10 minutes from Fayetteville, but feels very remote and just a bit rustic in all the ways we were looking for. When we arrived, there was an issue with a sink that had been shut off due to an obvious leak. We contacted the host and they arranged for a repair the next day. The only other suggestion I have for the owners is to make sure some kindling is provided in the wood pile (or advise folks to bring or purchase some). The firewood available to us was all huge pieces. Otherwise, everything was just as expected and we had a great stay. An ideal setting for a quick family getaway. A couple of us really enjoyed skiing at Winterplace (about a 50 minute drive), and we all loved exploring Fayetteville. We will happily stay here again!

Overall, this property has the basics and is adequate. However, with just a bit of TLC, this property could be great! There are no little extras that set this place as exceptional or excellent. There are no ice trays, hairdryer, shower supplies. Hot tub had black grit coming

We and our adult children and their girlfriends stayed for a long weekend of adventure. After bouncing at Ace Waterpark and whitewater rafting with Adventurers on the Gorge and ATVing with New River ATVs, we definitely needed the hot tub for our out-of-practice muscles. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pans, blender, etc we could want! Cabin was clean and felt secluded. We never got around to the fire pit, but we enjoyed the comfy sofas. Overall, quite nice.

A beautiful cabin in the woods
We planned a large family gathering for my mother-in-law who is nearly 93 and wanted to gather her family together for a week. We had so many family members we needed TWO cabins for 18 of us (with 6 more off site). This cabin was for two extended families but we gathered at the larger cabin (#6) for dinner, games, and campfires each evening. My only negative comment is that there are several maintenance issues that need to be cared for. I will say that the manager was pretty good at responding to our concerns and a new maintenance person seems to be in place so I would expect things to be nearly perfect in the future.

Great Cabin for families
We had a great stay. Location was perfect for rafting access, activities at Adventures on the Gorge and hiking at the NP. Hot tub was clean and worked well. Good WiFi service. Only minor issues were the sliding door to upstairs bathroom didn’t close and kitchen wasn’t super well stocked for cooking. Easy communication with owner and key code prior to arrival. Enjoyed the cabin and would stay here again.

We loved the New River Gorge National Park. This cabin was in a great location. It was clean, comfortable beds, and a nice shower. We never got a chance to use the hot tub, but I’m sure that’s an appreciated feature. We felt there were just a few things that needed tweaked. The downstairs toilet was broken when we got there, but they did come and fix it in a timely manner. The upstairs has a small bathroom which is nice, but we couldn’t get the track door to close, so it was hard to feel comfortable using it with an open door. It says in the description that it is fully stocked. The toilet paper, hand and dish soap, and paper towels were there with 2 trash bags. We have stayed in a lot of places where they include shampoo, soaps, salt and pepper, foil, wraps, storage containers. It’s good to know ahead of time that those things are not there. Also know to bring chairs if you want to use the fire ring. I wouldn’t call it a luxury cabin, but it was certainly adequate and served us well!

There was a snow storm before and during our stay. The owners upgraded us to a larger cabin that was easier to access in the snow. It was clean and quiet. A long weekend snowed in is just what we needed.

The cabin was lovely. I enjoyed the unique architectural details. I really appreciated having a half bath in the loft! Everything was in great working order. It was a bit of a steep hill but mu Toyota made it OK. We will definitely be back.

Cabin experience. Comfortable and safe
The location of this cabin is PRIME. Just a few minutes away from the canyon Rim Visitor Center, we were able to navigate the national park and downtown Fayetteville. The house experience was what is expected of a cabin. We did enjoy the hot tub and being able to grill. Beds were comfortable. We only experienced minor cons such as random spider encounters and the kitchen dishes were not well cleaned. Everything else was working and very useful. Washer and dryer came in handy after our horseback riding experience and hikes. The coffee machine works great. And the hot tub worked like a charm all 3 nights without issue. Would recommend.

This was a great “bang for the buck” as they say. It was close to Adventures on the Gorge, it was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that it didn’t have easy access to the hot tub like a step stool or something, but I’m a senior citizen so the younger crowd probably not affected by that.
