I wouldn't consider myself a frequent traveller, but I've travelled enough to know a good hotel experience from a bad one, and this was, by far, the worst hotel experience of my life, for a multitude of reasons.
Some important context: we initially booked six nights here but ended up booking a seventh as we had a very late flight and didn't want to be wandering the city for 10 hours, just trying to kill time. I messaged the hotel to confirm if we could stay in our room instead of having to check out/in again for that final night and was told that wouldn't be a problem, that we could just stay in the room. Another neighbour left their TV on all night, running wonderful infomercials, which we could hear very clearly. The soundproofing at this place is, quite literally, non-existent.
