Oh Orleans

I've stayed at the Orleans numerous times. each time I noticed the toilets have a very weak flush. Well, this time it did get clogged up and would not flush down completely. I called the front desk to have someone help remedy the problem. 2 hours pass and no one shows up. My girlfriend saw the housekeeper in the hallway and asked if we could barrow her plunger that she saw on her cart. The housekeeper said no. This occurred at 0800 Friday am. We had show tickets for the afternoon and could not wait for the Orleans to fix the problem. my girlfriend had to use the lobby restroom to do her business. And when we returned to our room around 5pm, the toilet was fixed, yes, but our room had not been maid up. Not a big deal, but i removed the do not disturb sign from the door. Also this booking on Hotels.com was supposed to come with a $15 food / beverage credit. When i checked out on the tv, I saw NO credit. I had 2 meals charged to the room.

Everything you need.

I enjoy staying here as the room is large and the bathroom is quite large for a hotel room. . The bed was very comfortable. Watch out for extra fees. When I booked the room online it seemed like a sweeter deal than when I got there and it was time to actually pay. The casino is nice there is one nice restaurant there. There is a food court as well. There is a bowling alley, movie theater, bingo, and other things here to do. It was easy to park out front and access the front door. There's a parking structure available. It's near Decatur which is a major boulevard in Las Vegas.

The hotel was decent. Free self parking is what I liked the most! You would always find a empty spot close to the entrance. You get what you pay for the hotel was nice but do not expect the room to be a 5 stars room

Excellent alternative to strip based hotels

We usually stay on the strip but only needed one night ahead of a road trip. This was an excellent choice, close enough to everything but easy to get away from it all. Hotel had charm, large but easy to navigate around. Food facilities all around the hotel and bedroom nice. Staff could have been a little friendlier but very efficient. Would definitely recommend and would consider again if not wanting to be on the strip.

Great 1st experience.

1st time at The Orelans. Service was good, an array of food options and all were great. There was plenty of activities to do for kids and adults. The hotel should offer a microwave for convenience. Plenry of parking and an transportation pick up center. Nice pool area and great adult beverages. The casino, needed a new promotion offer. I really enjoyed the theatre seeing Jurassic park and Bowling a set. Overall i had a great experience, the rooms do need some updating with lights and amenities.
