Bed and breakfast of the mill of the distillery of Saint Felix

It is with a real pleasure that we will welcome you in our Villa of full foot with its mill located on the site of a former distillery of rum. Plot of 2500 m2 with swimming pool, private parking 500m from the fishing port and the beach of St. Felix. Ideally located between Saint Anne and the gullet and close to shops (1mn walk) grocery stores, bakery, pizzeria, laundry, restaurants, bars ...
We offer 3 rooms with double bed (Iguana, Calabash, Mill) very comfortable equipped with quality bedding and private bathrooms. The Iguana room has a private toilet and direct access to the garden and pool.
We also offer plane rides and boat trips. We can arrange the rental of a vehicle and your transfer to the airport.
On Wednesday and Thursday evening we offer an optional dinner for 15 € per person with an aperitif offered by the pool (wine not included).
Upon arrival at the villa a welcome drink will be offered as well as a small snack.
Rooms and public areas are non-smoking.
The very hearty American breakfasts are included.
We also make copious picnic baskets to take away for lunch from 1 to 6 people.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker, and housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

We had a great stay at the mill. The freshly prepared breakfasts every morning were excellent and the pool and garden were great for spending our afternoons. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts - highly recommended.

This is a clean and comfortable place. The private pool and patio is especially enjoyable. Phillipe and Cathy were very hospitable and also provided us with helpful tips on how to enjoy our time in Guadeloupe. The continental breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious! A little piece of paradise
My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days with Cathy and Philippe at the old distillery mill in Saint Felix, next to Le Gosier. Our hosts were ready with a very warm welcome, a rum punch and the first of many great conversations. They helped us settle in and offered helpful information on the surrounding area. They are the perfect hosts; friendly and open yet not intrusive. The location is perfect for exploring the whole of Grande-Terre. As others have mentioned there is a fantastic bakery and a small grocery store within walking distance. Cathy and Philippe offer homecooked dinners as an option, which we took advantage of three times. Not only were the meals sumptuous and delicious, but the care taken in their presentation showed how their hearts are in everything they offer their guests. Breakfast was also a French Caribbean feast with fresh fruit salad, croissants, bread, cheese, jam and more! Their house is lovely and comfortable, our bedroom provided us plenty of room to spread out and of course everything was spotless. We were even able to wash our rental car on site. We would give a 10 star rating if we could. We will be talking about our wonderful stay for a long time. Thank you, Cathy and Philippe, for opening your home and hearts!

Was quite surprised, would recommend andreturn!
When I first was looking for a place to stay for before our cruise. Before booking I was able to confirm that they would be able to pick us up at the airport and take us to the home. Philippe and his lovely wife greeted us like one of their family! They had a small appetizers waiting as well as homemade rum. They made us drinks while talking to us and getting to know each other. Philippe for dinner even said he would drive us to the restaurant and pick us up after. Great, great time! It was too bad that we had to leave. In the morning his wife made a fantastic breakfast, so filling! Philippe drove us to the cruise port and said if we couldnt find anyone for after to give him a call and he would pick us up. Both of them went upon our expectations and we just hope this review helps them recieve more reservations. Thank you!

Je recommande ce lieu à tous mes amis. Philippe et Cathie étaient très gentils. Ils nous ont accueillis chaleureusement avec un apéro qui nous a servi de dîner. Cathie nous a fait faire le tour du terrain et expliquer toutes les plantes et arbres qu'ils font pousser. Ils nous ont partagé plusieurs histoires concernant la Guadeloupe qui nous a permis de mieux comprendre la culture. L'emplacement était central à plusieurs activités que nous avons fait sur Grande-Terre. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Darauf können Sie sich freuen: - Welcomedrink mit Cathy und Philippe - Stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtete saubere Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und Klimaanlage - Jeden Tag wunderschön präsentiertes Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat, selbstgemachtem Joghurt, Croissants, Baguette und leckeren Marmeladen auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die alte Windmühle - Swimmingpool zur Erfrischung - Hilfreiche Infos und Tipps zu Ausflugszielen, Stränden, Restaurants u.ä. durch die erfahrenen Gastgeber (beide wohnen schon sehr lange auf der Insel - mit Philippe sind Bootstouren nach individueller Absprache möglich. Séjour formidable !
Nous avons passé un séjour formidable! La maison est belle et confortable. Les chambres spacieuses, la literie très bonne. Une cuisine extérieure avec machine à laver spécialement réservée pour les clients dans le jardin qui abrite colibris et autres oiseaux exotiques, ET surtout un petit déjeuner gargantuesque avec salade de fruits frais et yaourts au coulis fait-maison, viennoiseries et œufs frais des poules de la maison!! Catherine et Philippe sont des hôtes absolument adorables, maîtrisant parfaitement l’équilibre entre une extrême bienveillance, un service au petit soin (thé, café, serviettes de plage, masques-palmes-tubas, conseils d’excursion, (il y a une réponse à chaque requête!) et en même temps, une discrétion et une distance qui donnent l’impression d’être vraiment chez soi et d’avoir son espace d’intimité! Nous reviendrons avec grand bonheur séjourner dans la villa du Moulin au somment de cette petite colline du Gosier! Merci encore pour tout, Catherine et Philippe ! Chani, Ariane et Christophe.

A RECOMMANDER A TOUT VACANCIER AUTHENTIQUE
En période de confinement, nous avons été contraint mon ami et et mes eux parents de quitter l'île de marie galante plus vite que prévu. Nous avons donc du réserver en urgence une nouvelle location, proche de l'aéroport au cas où. Nous sommes donc tombés sur l'annonce de Philippe et Cathy et avons réservé directement. le jour de notre arrivée, le petit déjeuner était préparé (agréable après un réveil à 4h15 et rien dans l'estomac). Rien à dire sur le petit déjeuner, c'est parfait. Ensuite nous avons pris quartier dans les chambres toutes neuves, extrêmement propres et avec une literie des plus appréciable. Dans l'après midi, nous avons pu nous pavaner au soleil autour du moulin et de la piscine, ce qui a rendu le confinement plus agréable. Au niveau services, Cathy prépare des petits déjeuner et des diners succulents, vous pouvez même vous charger d'acheter les denrées et Cathy se chargera de les sublimer dans un plat ! Au niveau de l'accueil, Cathy et Philippe sont deux hôtes adorables, avec qui il est facile de nouer des liens, nous garderons à coup sûr contact avec eux pour nos prochains voyages en guadeloupe. à recommander sans hésiter (attention ce n'est pas un hôtel, si l'on choisit ce logement il faut être prêt à adhérer aux règles de la maison et à échanger et tisser des liens avec les hôtes). Havre de paix aux mille saveurs!
Jolie villa très confortable, parfaitement située, à proximité des lieux de vie, des belles plages de Gosier, Saint-Anne et Saint François et le petit port de Saint Felix à pied, pour admirer le ballet des pélicans et la plage . Cathy et Philippe nous ont merveilleusement accueilli dans leur maison, ancienne distillerie, dans une de leur superbes chambres au calme. Le petit déjeuner préparé par Cathy, est juste une parenthèse hors du temps, une farandole de saveurs fait maison, et de couleurs vous attendent à l 'ombre du vieux Moulin, bercé par le chant des oiseaux. Possibilité de diner et/ou déjeuner sur place, pour se délecter des merveilleux plats préparés par Cathy. Philippe vous propose également la découverte de l'ile , à bord de son avion Cesna, pour un moment inoubliable. Nous avons passé des vacances extraordinaires, grâce à leur gentillesse, leur bienveillance, et leur sympathie. Un séjour à ne surtout pas manquer!
