First the good bits. The location is wonderful: the view from the balcony is of a 500 year old royal castle, the apartment is comfortable, the pool warm, the staff both friendly and helpful.
The not so good bits. The bedroom of a 1 bedroom apartment is an 8x6 box, it has room (just) for 2 single beds. The beds are not suited to anyone over 5'6". There is no air-con, so in hot weather you can either close the window and cook, or open it and wake up nice and early when the staff come past.
The kitchen was designed for someone 6'6" tall. My wife (5'4") could not actually reach the cookware and, if using microwave, had to guess at the state of the food.
Finally the town of Loches appears to shut d own at 8.30 in September. If you want a meal after that, buy a takeaway pizza, if you want a drink, make sure you have something in the apartment.
I realize that last has nothing to to with Moulin les Cordeliers, simply a warning for Future guests.
