Tucked away in the peaceful Charente countryside you’ll find an oasis of calm at Au Pré Fleuri Eco Retreat. Here you can get close to nature and relax in the knowledge that you are enjoying a low environmental footprint holiday. With six beautiful bell tents, socialising marquee, games area and tree circle, this is the perfect place for families to get together.
BBQs are provided as well as a fridge, freezer and honesty shop. You can order breakfast, lunch and BBQ packs or do your own thing. Look out for our street-food pop-ups in high season!
The forest lined wildflower meadow is a perfect place to relax in a hammock, watch the bees go busily about their business, listen to the birds from dawn until dusk and marvel at the millions of twinkling stars in the night sky.
Or get out and about to the beautiful lakes of the Haute Charente. Just 5 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by bike for watersports, wild swimming, beaches and bars. Charente Adventure park and Cassinomagus Archaeological Park are just a stone’s throw away.
Just 20 minutes away are the fascinating chateaux of Rochefoucauld and Rochechouart and for the foodies, there is a market to be found somewhere locally every day!
