Wow their suite 5B is absolutely stunning! It is like extra large king bedroom and queen bedroom. Each bedroom came with its own bathroom - a huge plus! The kitchen and common space are so large with high ceilings. Plenty of window light everywhere. We love the balcony view facing the river so much we did cozy breakfast and so many photos there. We also love the fact that the bedroom windows are facing the Leavenworth square so we can see the sparkling winter lights right from our windows. What a fairytale! Also their homemade strudel is so fresh and yummy! The only one tiny complaint is noise insulation - we could hear other units doors slamming at night, noise is not as insulated as we thought, good thing they stopped after midnight. Maybe signs “close doors gently” everywhere would help reduce overall door noise?

The location is the biggest thing Obertal has going for it. It is perfectly located within walking distance to all of downtown. The rooms are clean with basic amenities, nothing fancy, and the beds comfortable enough. My son liked the complimentary waffle breakfast. My biggest challenge was parking in the center courtyard. There is barely enough room to maneuver into and out of your parking spot. All things considered, this hotel is recommended for its location and cleanliness, not its glamour.

We had a great stay! Prime location to the cute little town, walkable, and was very quiet. The staff was very helpful and did whatever was needed to ensure we had a good stay. The daily breakfast was a nice addition to the stay, as you can choose from several options each day and you are given a tray to take back to your room. They supply dinning trays in each room that make eating in the room easy! The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the views from the rooms are breathtaking! Would stay again!

The staff at this hotel are very kind and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. For the price, the accommodations fall far short of expectations. The hotel feels like a renovated Motel 6, and the walls and ceilings are extremely thin. Noise from neighboring rooms and guests above us was constant and disruptive. At $500 per night, the value just isn’t there. We booked three non-refundable nights and chose to leave a day early. I would rather drive to Leavenworth than pay this rate again. The beds were acceptable, but the water never got truly hot. Breakfast was identical each morning and required ordering the night before, picking it up yourself, and eating in your room since there’s no dining space. While I appreciate the friendly staff and great location, this hotel is significantly overpriced for the amenities and comfort provided.

Pretty indifferent reception then finally made It to the room and the maid service had not taken the garbage out. The condo has a full kitchen and the whole condo reeked of old garbage. The guy at the front desk did come right away and take care of it . That was a relief.
