There's only 1 place to stay within a 10-kilometre radius of central Leck, so you'll have to move faster than a kid chasing an ice cream truck if you want to stay nearby.

There's nothing like an incredible night's sleep (and a few cheeky sleep ins) at Berger s Landgasthof. This is as central as you'll get in Leck.

You may like to have a look at some other accommodation spots, such as the Schackenborg Slotskro or the Hotel Tønderhus. The first can be found 20 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 20 kilometres away. And don't forget about the Landhotel Tetens Gasthof, 12 kilometres away.

Go 85 kilometres northwest and you'll find Esbjerg, a regional centre with a population of 72,000. While you're exploring this neck of the woods, hang your camera 'round your neck and get your tourist on at the Esbjerg Art Museum, Esbjerg Performing Arts Center and the Esbjerg Musikhus. If you decide to hang out for a while, keep the good times rolling with a visit to Water Tower and the Mennesket ved Havet. There are a number of great hotels ready for you to book in Esbjerg.
