My room locked me out, had to trek back and forth to the counter late at night after walking all day in D.C. had a double bed reservation, ended up offering me and my sister to share a bed, had to argue for an hour to give me a separate room. Never again, counter person had her kids playing outside the rooms late at night, very noisy, too young to be out there that late, most unprofessional hotel I've ever stayed at. I shouldn't have to pay for that night.

Hotel is pretty run-down. The elevator sounds like a death-trap and has visible corroding on the door and an expired certificate on the wall. The room had a broken sink that wouldn't allow any water to drain. Front-desk staff were not helpful, there is no maintenance personnel on the property from 4pm on. Overpriced for value.

Far from great…or even good
I’ll start by saying we didn’t check in till midnight and checked out before 9 am, so I did not have time to bring these issues up with the hotel staff. When I booked, I picked the “pay at hotel option”, as I was unsure where finances would be. When I arrived I tried handing them a card different from the one I entered when booking, and was told it had charged earlier in the day. Not ideal, and I can take blame for that, but I’m sure that would be a much bigger problem for others. We got to our room, and there were several issues: -The Double Sofa Bed advertised was only a twin. This was an issue when I was planning on having my two young kids sleep on it together. -It also had no bedding what so ever. I had to go to the front desk to get linens just to sleep on it. -The microwave was very dirty. We refused to use it for our leftovers -The toilet seat was so loose that I thought it might fall off. -Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. That’s just gross. I tried adjusting the drain and ended up losing half my finger nail because it didn’t want to move. -TV would just turn off after 10 minutes or so, and would “reset”, so that the volume was very loud when turned back on. Made the mistake of turning it back on once and waking up my kids, then when it turned off again I just gave up. These issues might have been isolated to my room, as relatives I had in another room were happy with it. But I definitely was not pleased with my stay for the cost, even as a budget hotel.

Would stay here again. Best Western Leesburg.
Two days. Dog friendly, excellent breakfast, room comfortable, a bit pricy. 12 minute ride to Morven Park Equestrian Center. Great Mex Restaurant across Market Street. Food in walking distance. Good location to Rt 15/7. One mile to downtown old Leesburg.

I'll pass on this hotel.
I arrived at Best Western Leesburg ready to check in only to find nobody at the desk. I called out several times "hello?" with no response. I then yelled "HELLO?", still no response. A couple came in after me, and a single after them. Now we have 5 people waiting and nobody at the desk. I finally called the hotel phone and a gentleman came from the back to answer the phone. Very disappointed. I'll pass on this hotel in the future.
