The room was clean and updated. We found that deciding to take advantage of their breakfast at the last minute was a problem due to limited capacity. We ended up eating elsewhere.

Staff were nice and location good. Room was small but not a problem for a single night. There was a lot of dust everywhere, in particular in the bathroom around the hairdryer. The bed was soft and the mattress sloped away. The pillows were probably the worst pillows I’ve tried to sleep on. Not old, just cheap. Some things shouldn’t be cheap. Pillows are one of those things. Breakfast was nice and the staff were lovely. I wouldn’t stay here again but I’m probably not the audience this hotel is looking for.

Unexpected gem
This hotel was an unexpected gem. It was perfect for a short two-night stay, but I could easily have stayed much longer. The central location near Nicolaikirche was phenomenal, close to many attractions and great restaurants. The train station was only a few minutes’ walk away. The room was modern and clean, and the air-conditioning was appreciated on the 90° days. The room did not have a cabinet or drawers, but there was ample room to hang garments. The bar next door is open late.

Feel like coming home
Hotel was full and the breakfast time was rather congested. The breakfast staff were working hard to keep fresh supplies for the buffet, and picking after us always with smile. Room cleaning was missed one day, but my husband went to the reception and immediately received fresh towels and toilet papers. The location is one of the best for taking advantage of musical offerings during the annual Bachfest. My husband and I feel very comfortable here.

Fine Hotel in Leipzig
While the rooms at Motel One locations are not large, they are what I need to sleep well, which is what I did in Leipzig. The entire room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was spotless. I have stayed at this hotel for various summer visits over the past 6 years, and it has consistently been a fine hotel.

Hotel was in a great location! However the facilities were quite basic. No phone in the room. Don't know how we would have contacted reception if there was a problem...No tea and coffee making facilities...No wardrobe....We utilised the 4 hangers provided and hung clothes from a random rail on the wall. This hotel is really only suitable for a very short stay. Finally, the website rate for the hotel was by no means the cheapest rate. The hotel had billboards around the town advertising a much cheaper rate.....
