The property itself is a little dated but the staff were fantastic. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed and friendly.
Big thanks to Josh, Lily, Noa and the team!
Reception process was poor. We arrived about 6.50pm told we couldn’t get dinner because full. Little help in suggesting alternate restaurants. Receptionist disappeared at 7pm and contact number on reception went to voicemail and no-one responded. Heating was not on in room and no one around to show us how to turn it on until later than evening. Hotel decor dated and shabby. Bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast adequate but uninspired. Dinner catering very basic. Staff keen to help but seemed inexperienced. Overall poor value for money.
An excellent hotel, a little tired, but very comfortable and the staff were fantastic and very friendly. Very well placed for walking routes during the summer. Fabulous splendid views. Thoroughly recommend.
