The Arundel is a very clean and comfortable hotel situated just off the sea front, next to the Casino and Tourist Office in bustling Les Sable D'Olonne. We had a sea view, with a balcony which had table and chairs, a large room with a King-size bed, fridge, TV (with a couple of English language channels). Service was excellent - we were provided with an ice bucket, bottle opener and glasses for a bottle of wine I had bought in a shop around the corner. Breakfast was an eat as much as you like buffet with a large choice, including great coffee. A very welcoming place to stay in. Two things to note, however: 1) The aircon is essential in summer, but noisy. Opening the windows at night means you get some noise from the nearby casino (not audible when windows are closed). 2) Parking is underground, just opposite the hotel and hence very convenient, but beware of the road system here. This is the third time we have been to Sables, but it still took an hour to find our way around the one-way and pedestrianised areas.
