We stayed here before so came back when we were in the area. Lovely place, and looked after like family. Breakfast is amazing, and throughout our stay it feels like nothing is too much trouble. Well be back

excellent. owner could help enough. beautifully decorated and very comfortable. tea/coffee facilities in room. stayed here after visiting st andrews which wasnt far. lady made her own marmalade and jams and we bought some to bring home. Lovely touch was homemade shortbread biscuits in the room too which were the best iv ever tasted and when we left the owner give us a few to take with us. would definately be back. lovely breakfast.

The host is very friendly and welcoming. It was warm, by Scottish standards, during my stay and there was a tower fan in the room. The bathroom was large with a spacious semi circular shower. There was homemade shortbread with the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast would put some 4 or even 5 star hotels to shame; delicious homemade fruit salad, tasty porridge, piping hot fried eggs, mushrooms and tomato with quality wholemeal toast.

Just returned from a lovely weekend away at the Dunclutha. Richard and Julie are the most amazing hosts, nothing was to much trouble for them. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast 5 star. Shortbread the best we have ever tasted. Highly recommended stay. Would be our number one choice if we return. Can not thank you Julie and Richard enough. We look forward to tasting your homemade marmalade too 😊

Staying in the Tartan Room at the Dunclutha Guest House for one night was really enjoyable. The bed was comfy, the room was nice and cosy, Julie and Richard are very friendly people. The homemade Shortbread was lovely (Do recommend giving that a try) and the breakfast was lovely as well, They serve breakfast at half 7 but they were happy to accommodate to serve breakfast at 7am I cannot say anything negative about my stay, it was worth the price and if you are planning to stay here, Leven is a nice town and is a good 10 minute walk to the recently opened Leven Railway Station or Bus Station if you rely on public transport

Perfect Fife stop
The room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom also spotless. Linda is an excellent host from the moment i arrived nothing was to much trouble. As for the breakfast what can i say other than excellent. Perfectly cooked if thats your thing or an abundance of other options. As a traveller who stays in between at least 50 hotels a year thos ranks amongst my best stays. 5 star
