Everything was nice and clean, but the bathroom was not handicap assessable because you had to step over the tub to get in the shower.Once you got into the tub, there were bars in the tub.

The night staff were friendly and helpful but the door to my building wouldn’t open with the key and my bathroom was not cleaned (with dirty towels and washcloths) and the trash had not been emptied from the previous guest.

Don’t stay here!
It was awful. We asked for the first floor but they put us on the second floor without elevators - we have physical limitations that made it difficult to take the stairs. They refused to move us & didn’t give us a reason why not. The key card didn’t work for the outside door - had to go back around to the front of the bldg to get the card reissued. The room door was temperamental to open. The hair dryer was broken. The hangers won’t stay in the plastic holders on rod & TV’s CC was so tiny that we couldn’t read it more than 2 feet away. The “free” breakfast was a joke - waffle iron broken, no bread for toast, no hot water for tea, no eggs except for hard boiled eggs, no yogurt 2 mornings in a row, hardly any hot food - just biscuits & gravy. No ice machine as we needed some ice. Every night (3 nights) we couldn’t get inside the back of building - we had to go around to the front for a new card each time - they never apologized. We were so shocked as we’ve used Best Western for many years and we will never use BW again.

Outside door key entry was broken so door was propped open, so there was no security for entering the property. Hallways were very unappealing. Our entry card did not work well on our door. It took MANY tries to enter. The room appears clean and obviously updated.

It wasn’t posted that the hotel was under renovations. At the main desk there was a huge hole wall. Carpets were filthy, smelled, dark and unkept. We checked in went to our room and immediately checked out. The man desk said the renovations were complete???

Staff very kind. Room clean. Area of town a little iffy. Outside door of building unable to lock. Card key did not work in it. Construction in entryway. Very close to interstate, easy access. Exit very busy road. Probably better to not rent rooms in the construction area.

Avoid like the plague
Do NOT STAY HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. The blankets had stains and hair all over them. Not a random hair like someone shaved their body hair off gross. Then some random guy tried to get in our room claiming the front desk checked him into this room. Then people running up and down the halls all night. Then screaming and fighting all night. We hear banging and of this is the police open up. Then we hear screaming and get down on the ground. So we figured that domestic violence or something police are taking care of it. No it wasn't even the police. We have no idea what was going on cussing, beating, screaming, all night. The front desk they did nothing. It was the 2nd worst hotel of my life.

Will never stay there again. You can’t advertise a pool and a hot tub as amenities and the patrons show up and the hot tub is essentially a brown watered cesspool/bog. All that was missing was bullfrogs. The pool was freezing and grimy all around the outside. Didn’t venture into it. The walk to the pool is enchanting with broken glass and discarded room features like ceramic sinks just smashed strewn alongside the sidewalk. I didn’t know if that was a construction thing or just frustrated patrons. I especially loved the fact that the guy at the front desk directed us on how to find the pool and hot tub and didn’t bother to mention the state of it until we returned freezing and mortified where he then proceeded to just advise us to talk to the manager. Well, we didn’t bother. I mean the place reeks like a tossup between a dirty mop and just a rotting mildew smell. You pray to be nose blind. You just pray. If you’re managing a place that buckles under the most basic standards of cleanliness we are not gonna find a common ground. This place gives Best Western a bad name. Someone from Best Western who has no sense of smell and no need for a hot tub needs to venture here and see how this establishment outclasses them all. It’s a good stopping point for booking Best Western ever again. Zero customer service. We didn’t just leave after checkout, we fled.

My stay was screwed up from the start. I was told I could pay for early check in because I was in town for a wedding. Called that morning to double check- was told no. Booked a king bedroom and when I arrived I was told it was given away. The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work and the lights by the bed didn’t work. For $140 a night I was severely under impressed.

A stay of last resort.
This is a stay you only make out of absolute necessity. If you need a semi-clean place to rest your head while driving on 75 and no where else is available, this place MAY be ok. We arrived at 1:45 to realize no one was working the front desk. A very sweet lady did eventually emerge but informed us that she was simply covering for a colleague and was not authorized to use the computer so I had to wait until the owner who lives on site to get my room key ready. The hallways are spooky, dirty, and smells disgusting. If you imagine a scary movie set in a hotel- this is your scene. The room had a dirty odor, the sheets were stained and disgusting, and the bathroom didn’t drain. But we didn’t see any bugs and the floors were swept. So it at least was sufferable.
