We LOVED this hotel. The cute French Quarter style atrium and luxe Lexington style lounge area and rooms are gorgeous. The shower was huge. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. The king bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant & helpful. We will definitely stay here every time we are in Lexington.

Stayed here for the weekend to attend a family member's memorial service. This is an aged 3 star hotel masquerading as 4 stars. The building has been renovated, but still shows its age. My room still had an old school chain style secondary security lock, which was missing the end of the chain rendering it useless. The room was missing the remote for the TV and the room phone did not work at all, so I had to call the front desk on my cell to report the missing remote. The "free airport shuttle" was unavailable on a Friday evening when I arrived to Lexington. After calling the hotel, I was told I had to prearrange the pickup for my arrival and they could not pick me up. It was also unavailable when I tried to schedule it for my return trip to the airport as well due to my early departure time to the airport. I ended up having to take an UBER. Neither of these circumstances were in any of the hotel's descriptions for the shuttle service. While I was at the airport waiting for my alternative transportation to arrive, multiple other area hotel chains arrived to pick up their customers. Skip the cookies and stay elsewhere.

Updated but still an old property. Room was very clean and had an updated look but the AC wasn’t working properly so the tech came up to fix it and was able to get it going in about 30 min. The thing is if you are going to renovate and upgrade the look spend the money and replace the 30 plus years old ac system. Also the homeless guy on the bench outside was a bit of a turn off.

This Doubletree looked like an Embassy Suites inside with room's that overlooked the central court which I liked. The place is bring renovated as we kept being told so the bar area was under stocked. The rooms have very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms in the jr suite we stayed in and was clean. No hair anywhere or signs of previous guests. The HVAC was super loud and we changed rooms because of the first unit only to have the second room still have a loud unit when it kicked on. Bad axx kids playing in the open court area and in halls middle of the night. Cookies were delicious. Location was convenient to downtown.

Outside needs to be cleaned up a little bit. I have been going to this hotel at least once every year to stay for my anniversary but this last stay, we found they removed all the in-room jacuzzis which was one of the reasons we visited. Also after COVID, the menu changed and the food quality has dropped so we will be looking for another location that has a jacuzzi and room service.
