It is not a casino and never was. Their restaurant is very limited and runs out all the time. You must ask before you order to see if it is available.

It’s a blah hotel. From the staff to the rooms, there is no personality at this hotel. Having stayed at properties across Costa Rica, this was one was dead flat and I don’t think it was worth the $180 we paid for it. Breakfast was in an outside venue with flies on everything. Pretty sure flies are gross in every country. Pool needed a major cleaning, a lot of stuff was floating in there so we didn’t use it. Anyway, not staying here again.

We stayed here our first night in Costa Rica so it was nice to have someplace that felt sort of “familiar.” The AC works GREAT!!! Breakfast was delicious. And the pool is awesome!

The hotel grounds were nice with peacocks walking around the pool, staff was nice, hotel close to shopping center and downtown, however the room was in bad condition, AC leaking, water damage in the ceiling, floor coming off

There wasn’t a fridge in our suite. I asked for one, they said no. I asked if there was ice, she said no. Then I passed an ice machine on the way…. She lied to me and there wasn’t a language barrier. I speak limited Spanish so she understood. The attitude I received from the front desk was rude

- The property has “Casino” in its name however there is no functional casino - Upon arrival to my room, my bedsheets had 10 human hairs and a worm on them. Also, there was a large dead spider on the floor next to my bed - There was a phone in my room but it did not work - The shower wasn’t full enclosed so shower water went all over the bathroom floor I asked for a refund so I could switch hotels and wasn’t granted the refund. I give this hotel 2 stars because breakfast was included and decent. Also, the security/maintenance(?) staff worked quickly on resolving my concerns mentioned above.

This place deserves 0 stars. Left as soon as we checked in. There were bugs all over the room and curtains. Towels looked raggedy and unsanitary. Complained to the front desk and they told us the bugs were normal. She did switch our room but we were so disgusted we left after an hour. Do not stay here !
