Worst hotel
We stayed in thehotel for 10 nights and if wr hadn't paid all in full before our arrival, we would have checked out. The room was very dirty when we checked in. Many dead as well asalive insects in the room. One light bulb exploded when my brother just turned on the light which resulted in a black out in our room. The breakfast was the most disgusting thing you can ever see, insects flying all over the food, in addition to cats wondering all around the hotel breakfast area and lobby. The towels in the bathroom had human hair in them, ew!

Could be so much better
A nice clean reasonably modern hotel, well priced. The staff attitude was fantastic, enthusiastic, and courteous. Room was good, however the double electrical socket was not secured to the wall properly so using any electrical goods could be problematic, and potentially dangerous thankfully i did not have children.

Hotel with lovely pool close to the beach
My main reason for going to Cyprus was to visit family. I chose this hotel as it's located on the main coastal road with lots of parking space and close to a motorway junction. My general impression is that the management keeps the common areas (lobby and pool) in pristine condition, however even though the rooms are spacious they have seen better days. From what I've seen, the hotel seems to be hosting a lot of functions whilst keeping guest floors closed which explains the above. Still if you want to be in the Amathus area and avoid luxury resorts or self serviced apartments, this is the alternative option. If you have no car, there is a frequent bus service to the main tourist area and city centre. Special mention to the chambermaid that took the initiative and changed the broken toilet seat in the room.

I was here on my way to Pafos, and I didn't expect much, but it was so clean and really nice looking inside! And very friendly staff. Very nice place and I'd like to go here if I come back to Cyprus.

Lack of Staff but Good Price
When I arrived in this hotel at 7pm, there was nobody at reception and I waited 20 minutes there. In the morning one lady deals with both the restaurant and reception. Room is OK and price excellent. This is a budget hotel among the luxury hotels in the tourist area east of the city and can be reached by the frequent bus No 30 from the old port.

The room had no TV, the reception staff were in polite, and had a couldn't care less attitude, diner and breakfast was very low standard of quality and the cutlery utensil situation was none existant

Sorry, not a winner.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great pool, especially for children. Food was mediocre, loud head banging music in lobby, dining area and lounge was not pleasant and there was a dirty, stained chair in my room. Needs updating as a bit shabby etc. Location across from beach and access to bus to centre of town was good.

OK but do not eat there
The marking is taking ito account that the price paid was from an economic point of view good value. A big exception to this assessment was the buffet breakfast. It was pretty awful with tinned tomatoes, slabs of what was supposed to be omelette but created on an industrial scale which had to be carved out of a large baking tray and franfurter sausages that must have been stewing for a week. If you were a vegetarian as my wife is, all she could find was some toast and pieces of tomato. No yoghourt or jams or anything to go witha slice of bread even. Yes, overall the food was appalling. Suggest you go somewhere else for breakfast.

BAD AIRCONDITIONING
had difficulty breathing at night as the air con was hardly on blower mode... it was OK in the day time but one would of course be out in the pool or the beach... price was reasonable for what it is buffet food was resonably priced for what it is you do not have to eat there...
