Simple but very clean and hospitable. Staff is very cordial. Great location and view with private easy access to the beach. The free breakfast was a nice added amenity. We definitely recommend it.

Wow, the views from your windows here are amazing. Directly out to the sea and from some heights, it's a really amazing place for a hotel. It's a brilliant place to park in front of your window and just watch the ocean. It's rare to find a hotel I actually want to stay inside of. Love the gas fireplace, very nice touch. Free breakfast is nice as well. Parking is easy. Maintenance staff is cool. Dog relief areas are convenient. Hot tub and a sauna, awesome. Downsides - Rooms are small. I don't want to pay 150 - 180 (or i see on other weekend days its 200+) when I can hear the neighbors TV through the walls. I can only imagine what it would be like if you had partiers next to you. Or a screaming child (oh wait we had that and it was like the kid is in your room). 25 dollars a day per dog is expensive compared to most places that charge a one time fee. There is no way my small dog is doing more damage than the kids running around. Hope this helps with your decision making process.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Surfland Hotel. Check-in was smooth and convenient. The staff was pleasant and responsive. Our room was excellent. The view of the ocean and beach was outstanding! The fireplace made it even more enjoyable! During one night when there was a severe windstorm, the power went out. The fireplace became a necessity providing both light and heat. Power was restored by the time we woke up in the morning. I do suggest installing a light over the microwave/coffee area. While not a necessity, it would make seeing what you are doing a little easier. We will miss our room and will definitely stay here again for our next trip to the Oregon coast.

One of our faves!!
The view was absolutely amazing. Having a balcony was the best thing ever!! we did not want to leave. The bed was comfortable. The room was kinda small, but fine for 2 people for a couple days. The breakfast was perfect. Biscuits and gravy eggs, fruit, yogurts, Sausage, cereal pastries. everything you pretty much could want. And again, having the balcony was amazing.I would definitely recommend it!

Property is very nice. Walls are very thin. We could hear EVERYTHING happening in the rooms next to and above us. people partying late into the night...screaming babies and upstairs stomping. Won't be staying there again...

It was absolutely beautiful. The pillows were uncomfortable though. It had to padding. As soon as we laid down it felt like we were laying flat. We woke up sore the next morning. But the room was beautiful and we would stay there again. Also, the hottub had some of the most powerful jets that we have ever experienced. It was nice and felt good on our backs.
