I have stayed in this hotel when in the area with work over the last 4 years. The staff as always were fantastic and very helpful. The hotel was very busy with wedding and the bars was thus packed, which wasn't an issue. Had breakfast in the restaurant which was decent. Downside was the swimming pool is now permanently closed (got notified after I had made the the booking) with the spa & gym also closing shortly. The rooms, whilst very clean, are looking a little tired now and could do with a refresh/update/makeover Whilst the shower was amazing (proper power shower) the tiles and grouting were showing their age, again, could do with a refresh/update. Beds were clean & comfy which, at the end of the day is the most important bit.

Bentley in Lincoln.

Dont use hotels that often, but was pleasantly surprised by the Bentley in Lincoln, clean, easy to find, great staff good food, good price.

Dog Parents Overnight stay

The service was excellent, the food good, good breakfast. Parking free and WIFI good, nice sized TVs in the room, nice sized rooms. You CAN sit in the Martini bar area with your dog to eat your meals. The decor is a bit tired looking, 1990s dated and our dog friendly bedroom as not cleaned to the best standard there was a stain on the carpet that would have been easily enough for someone to get rid off which the correct products. Perhaps puppy pads available to buy at reception would help the housekeeping team, we reported it immediately so we didn't loose our £50 dog damages deposit and the staff were lovely about it. There are large grass verges out in front of the large carpark where you can take your dog out to do their business opposite the McDonalds. Sadly the pool, beauty spa will soon close but the price of the room as good value still. Ask the hotel whats happen about the fitness suite. We would stay again if travelling with our dog to Lincoln as Lincoln seems to not have many dog friendly places to stay!

The look of the hotel as you pull up is not great it looks very run down. You have photos of the swimming pool still on show which is closed and you say the gym is still open but it wasnt because of staff shortages. Room 104 the bathroom door or rotten on the inside of bathroom. In the bar £6 for a pint of cider in an out of town hotel was expensive. Room was fine comfortable clean and warm

Okay... would not stay again

Booked this hotel for the pool (sports recovery after sons rugby) only to hear after booking that it was permanently closed :( the hotel offered me a free cancellation when i complained which was not very helpful at the short notice we had to find somewhere. Hotel was fairly clean - some grime around the base of the bath and a drippy stain on the main room wall, but bedding and towels were very clean. Randomly, the element in the kettle was amazingly clean. Room was very dated, small high up window offering no view at all. Wall panel controlling temperature did not display anything when pressed (although the vent did open on the actual unit) and the cover fell off numerous times. Shower was either boil-a-lobster hot, or artic cold with not much in-between causing my 12 year old to proclaim its the worst shower hes ever used and extracor fan did not work. We debated eating dinner in the hotel restaurant but it was completely empty at 7.30pm which is never a good sign so went elsewhere. Breakfast was okay, but nothing too special. The communication was good by auto-bot i am guessing, and staff were friendly enough.

Struggle to find the hotel because of Paul and sam posted did manage to find it. The lady receptionist was amazingly friendly and helpful with a lovely quiet room so I had a good quiet night sleep sausages at breakfast could’ve been better and a bit more choice of Continental would’ve been nice.
