We have never asked to switch rooms before, but it took three tries to get a room that was functional. The first room had a leaky toilet, non functioning bedside lamps, and drapes falling down, the second room's door lock didn't work and we couldn't get in, the third room had a toilet that ran continuously, but we stayed anyway since we couldn't hear it with the bathroom door closed.
Once we found a room we could use, we found it clean, the bed comfortable, and the room quiet. The receptionist was kind and apologetic about our experience and was quick to help us resolve the situation. If maintenance were attended to, this would be a good place to stay.
