I loved this hotel! The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. I had a daily transportation question, and there was always someone ready to assist. The room was very nice and quite spacious by European standards. I was surprised by the size. We had chosen a deluxe room, but that doesn’t always translate to large. The hotel is on a street with many restaurants and shops, but it was so quiet, you would never know it. The rooms must be soundproof, because I never heard a sound from another room and the hotel was full or nearly full. It was a pretty, pleasant hotel in a convenient location, and we had a wonderful stay.

First time in Lisbon
The staff of Behotelisboa was amazing and accomodating. We had an early arrival in Lisbon and did not book a room for that arrival. They worked to have a room ready as soon as they can so we are very appreciative of their flexibility. The location is perfect for a week-long trip, providing access to many of key areas of Lisbon. They also have airport transport partner, and the other services were excellent!

Great hotel in Baixa
Great hotel in the middle of Baixa neighborhood. Really easy to move around. The room was spacious, although a bit old. We had a room with small French doors to a balcony which was nice. Hotel offers free port wine and nata tarts in the lobby. Elevator was slow at times. They have a restaurant on site that we didn’t try. With these many restaurants and attractions nearby it was an easy 3-day explorations.

From the minute we walked into this delightful hotel, until the time we left, I could not fault the professionalism and the service by the hotel staff. The reception staff were really helpful and presented to match the fine standard of this hotel. The breakfast service staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, offering a lovely breakfast. The breakfast was worth the money. Our superior room was extremely clean, well serviced again by the daily staff and the size of the room and bathroom was worth the extra money. I honestly really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would highly recommend staying here, whilst visiting Lisbon.

Loved Lisbon
Lisbon is awesome! Behotelisboa puts you in the middle of everything!! Alfama neighborhood on one side and Chiado on the other. You can walk everywhere or jump on trams, trolleys, metro or bus to anywhere you want to go! Very affordable!

Staff were lovely. Love the cakes in the lobby. Upgraded room for a little more space but the room was in the eves so very limited headspace. Nowhere to hang any clothes longer than a short shirt! Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. Room situated at top of stairs so noisy with passing guests. Very comfy beds & lovely soft pillows

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 night stay. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout. Beautifully renovated hotel. Showers worked perfectly. Very good breakfast included. Natas and port wine at reception available at all times were a very nice touch. Very centrally located. Would stay again.

Hotel was easy to find, 5 mins from Rossio metro station and waterfront. Welcome from hotel staff was fantastic and we enjoyed a glass of free port every day. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was beautiful and wide choices of continental and cooked food. Overall our stay was superb, they even left my wife with a birthday cake. Thankyou to all staff who helped us throughout the week and highly recommend this to other travellers.

I chose this hotel for the location. It is in the middle of everything like dining options, shopping, attractions, and the flat area of Lisbon. As a 4 star hotel I expected a comfortable bed and the beds are horrible at this hotel. The bed was so hard that it caused pain on all pressure points. As a 4 star hotel I expected a robe and slippers. That would have been a nice touch. The AC worked excellent and wasn’t super loud. The breakfast was decent. The orange juice was good and the fruits were ripe. I wish they would vary the protein each day or have ready made eggs to order would be nice. Scrambled eggs everyday is boring. The server was super friendly and had an amazing positive attitude, but the other lady was moody and snappy at times. I found the hotel to be clean and the room attendants were great. I saw them cleaning other rooms and was impressed. If you are okay with a hard bed then stay here or ask for a mattress topper. We found out on our last day that the hotel provides them if you ask. You are in the middle of the action here so prepare for music, singing, and general noises at night. The location is the best part of this hotel.

We recently stayed here during our first trip to Lisbon and would definitely recommend it. The room was very clean & well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the opportunity to check in early, & the lovely welcome with natas & port wine. It may be a good idea to offer ice water in the lobby, as my husband doesn’t drink alcohol & we were travelling with our young child. The complimentary in-room espresso was a great added touch. The hotel is centrally located to the City Centre and very walkable to many of the popular historic attractions, including a wonderful authentic fado house in Mouraria. There are many restaurants in the area, with similar menus and price points (quite expensive but comparable to tourist spots). Only downside was that it rained on day of a day tour to Sintra, which we booked through hotel, and we were not able to reschedule the tour. This was NOT the hotel’s fault, and they did contact the tour company for us to see if they would allow us to change the date. The hotel was able to loan us umbrellas for our rainy day tour.

The staff were fantastic!!! Super helpful and friendly. Our only issue was that the room was incredibly small, even for a standard room. We had no where to even unpack or put luggage so if your staying there ( great location and great staff) pay more for their larger room ( there was none by the time we booked) as the “standard” is really just a bed
