Browns Central Hotel is in a really convenient spot for exploring Lisbon. Being right in the city center, it was easy to walk to nearby attractions like the Santa Justa Lift, the Carmo Convent, and the lively Chiado district, which was a big plus. The hotel has a modern, stylish design that gives it a nice atmosphere, and the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable.
However, there were a few things that could have been better. When I called to express a concern about my room and inquired about the possibility of changing, the response from the staff wasn’t as helpful or friendly as I would have hoped for. The room I had didn’t have any natural light, which made it feel a bit closed off, and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dim, which might be an issue for some guests. Another point worth mentioning is that the room couldn’t be locked from the inside, which, as a solo traveller, was a safety concern for me.
All in all, it’s a good option if you want to be close to everything and enjoy a stylish setting, but there are definitely a few areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable.
