Property had a beach hut vibe and gave the impetus were in a tropical environment! Staff were absolutely fantastic. Word of warning for light sleepers, the mini fridge is near your head when you sleep and the humming is a pain in the neck. The shower also goes from lukewarm to burn your skin hot.

Fantastic stay. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to guide and advise if requested. Great breakfast and facilities. Lovely rooms that were quiet and fantastic shower:-) Nice restaurants near by and great transport links. Would Highly recommend and I Would definitely return. We just came back from our stay at Garam Lisboa and it was amazing. Small boutique hotel with many little attention that make this place really special. The breakfast was really good. Special thank you to David for his amazing service!

Lovely property and friendly staff. The only issue was we were given the attic room. The ceilings were too low and we kept hitting our heads on the ceiling. The room seems very crammed due to this. The pictures in the listing make the rooms seem bigger than what they are. We also didn’t have any “real” windows in the room. Because it was an attic room the windows were tiny where you couldn’t poke your head out or look outside really.

A cute quirky boutique hotel. Small comfortable room with pool courtyard view. Good Bath amenities - but no toilet paper holder but this may be a Portugal thing? Fantastic breakfast adorable eating area inside and outside. Very nice staff. Building is old so floor to room was uneven. Room was perfectly quiet for a great sleep.

This guest house is full of character, with its distinctive decor and quirky touches. The staff, particularly Ana and Davi went out of their way to help you and give you plenty of advice about the local area and transport options. The rooms are clean, although may, for some feel a little under furnished. This was not a problem for me personally as I was traveling light. The breakfast area is uniquely furnished with a sense of playfulness and community and there was a good selection of food. I would definitely return to Garam if I visit Lisbon again.

Super guesthouse in walkable distance to all Lisbon has to offer. Some really fab restaurants and bars within a 3min walk, not touristy, authentically portuguese and highly recommended. Davi for King!! Loved it. Thanks for a great stay.

What a fantastic boutique hotel. Everything in this place was perfect. The staff were wonderful They helped us get the tours we wanted. And always confirmed our bookings. Breakfast was perfect. We can not say enough good things concerning the Hotel Garam!!! Even before our arrival they were looking out for us and arranging transportation from the airport. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Anna, served a welcome glass of wine and equipped with helpful information for our first visit to Lisboa. The breakfasts are excellent including fresh squeezed orange juice!! We have never been made to feel more cared for than by the entire staff at Hotel Garam, led by David! We enjoyed Hotel Garam’s quiet neighborhood with DELIGHTFUL restaurants! This is the place you Want to stay!!!!
