Beautiful place to stay!
We had a great stay during our 5 day trip to Lisbon, and a large part of it was our stay at Varandas de Lisboa. This was a great location, in walking distance to Sao Jorge Castle, Barrio Alto, Alfama, Baixa, and Praça do Comercio. The view from our balcony was beautiful and we truly thought it enhanced our experience. One thing to note is you have to walk up 2 large flights of stairs before you get to the reception area where there is an elevator. We parked across the street at Campo das Cebolas, and it worked out great (25€ a day). Our rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be coming back here!

The accomodation was great. The location could not have been better for a city break. Easy access to a range of transport to sites as well as being next to a favourite (casa de bica). Range of cafes and restaurants right at the doorstep.

Wonderful building and spacious room with excellent views of the river. Very close to the cruise port (we could see the ship from the window). Abdul and Victoria on reception were extremely welcoming and helpful. One member of our party had mobility issues but there was a back entrance straight to the lift.

Perfect location but needs assistance
The living room only had a small couch. If you sleep 4 you should have enough seats for 4. There was only a television in the bedrooms. The beds were hard. The elevator smelled like fish. Other than that the concierge was very nice and the size of the apt suited us. The location was everything and the perfect spot.

Excellent location and very spacious property. Little difficult to locate and few steps to carry luggage. Rooms are spacious and bright and comfortable. Shared kitchen for morning coffee and tea. They do not provide breakfast. Family room is very spacious and luxurious. Biggest issue we had was standing shower. Shower is extremely small and shower head was broken, which they never fixed during our 4 day stay. Water temperature varies drastically. There is mold issue in the shower stand.

Staff very kind and helpful. Room had great AC and was decently quiet. Our bathrooms were shared and I found the toilet seats a bit dirty so perhaps clean those more often. Thank you!
