After a lively day of seeing the sights, get into a cosy bed at Lindner Strand Hotel Windrose and Sylter Domizil. They're some of the hotels closest to the centre.

Spend a hour or two observing the assortment of boats float about at List Harbor. You'll be able to leave your belongings at the A-ROSA Sylt and just stroll on over. Bear in mind that this is the only local accomodation option, so lockdown that room ASAP!

Additional accommodation options include the DORFHOTEL Sylt, which is 20 kilometres from the centre of List, and the TOP CountryLine Hotel Roth am Strande, which is 15 kilometres away. Alternatively, make your way 12 kilometres from central List to the Hotel Kommandørgården.

Wenningstedt is another place where you can lay back and make friends with the room service menu. Sitting 11 kilometres south of List, it's where you'll discover the Sylt Golf Club and Red Cliff. Some of our recommended Wenningstedt accommodation options are the Dorint Strandresort & Spa Sylt/Westerland and Hotel Niedersachsen. 30 kilometres to the east of List you can also stay at Tonder, home to the Hotel Tønderhus and Motel Apartments Tønder. If you stay in Tonder, be sure to check out the Tonder Museum and Schackenborg Castle.

Esbjerg is located 50 kilometres away from List and has a population of 72,000. When you're there, you'd be mad if you didn't stop by the Esbjerg Art Museum, Esbjerg Performing Arts Center and the Esbjerg Musikhus.
