Very sweet, great bed, totally overpriced

This lodge is really an elevated motel with beautiful views. The couple who greeted us upon our arrival were simply lovely, the room was fine, a little cramped but the bed was absolutely stellar. There was a continental breakfast the next morning that wasn’t great ( frozen muffins, individually packaged bagels some apples oranges and bananas). Here’s my main complaint. We stayed at another hotel in town the following night that was $100 less with a beautiful room private patio and jacuzzi, high end restaurant and incredible breakfast included (eggs Benedict, cappuccino, fresh cut fruit) so from a value perspective I think this lodge was wildly over-priced. I would definitely not come back.

Beautiful view from all rooms of the Pacific Ocean! Quiet comfortable spacious room with its own big balcony to enjoy the view of the property flowers and ocean too. Well worth it after a long day driving! Thank you!

Perfect spot

Perfect spot to stay the night as you make your way along the coast. Clean, inviting, and had no complaints whatsoever. Would stay again and recommend to anyone needing a great place to sleep for the night.

The couple that ran the property are absolutely wonderful people. They are all about the property and the guest experience. Every room has a view and the rooms appear to be recently renovated. Around the property is beautiful, there are areas that need some TLC with replanting or a refresh. We saw them doing that while we were there so I know it’s on their radar. The bed was super comfy and the amenities in the room were perfect. Great local and great get away spot….

Nice Place To Stay On The Coast

Nice place in a great location looking towards the sea. The property is dog friendly, and while we didn't bring a dog it was great to see all the pups. The room is comfy and has a huge balcony with a table and chairs looking out to the ocean. The bathroom is small with only a shower, no tub, but was super clean. Everything was very clean but the room could use a paint touch up and the sliding door to the deck had a finicky lock that took a minute to figure out. A continental breakfast is offered from 8-10am. Coffee and cookies are available all day (yes!) Staff were very nice as were the guests. We would stay here again, for sure, and we recommend Seafoam Lodge if you're looking for a place close to Mendocino/ Ft Bragg area.

Loved everything about this lovely lodge. Highly recommended! (The only minor bump was that breakfast didn’t start until 8am, and the room coffee was a bit of a struggle to figure out.)

Good value place to stay in the Mendocino area, easy to get to places along the coast. Looked as pictured, Spacious room. All have ocean views. AC was nice but loud. Wifi would disconnect at times but overall worked. Would be nice if bathroom had more hanging space. Place allows pets and some furniture had pet damage. Nice to have a king sized bed, fridge and balcony!

Fantastic property

We spent one night here as a couple with a baby, and it was great. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and the grounds and location are excellent! There was a very nice baby cot available in the room when we arrived. Only downside is that there are bright lights outside the room (lighting the private deck) which cannot be switched off, and made the room very light all night (somewhat problematic for a baby). It would be great if they could be switched off or if the room could be outfitted with blackout curtains.

It’s a lovely quaint lodge with ocean views from every room. Very quiet and serene. Also pet friendly. They offer a very nice continental breakfast to get your day started. We stayed an extra day since it was so nice.
