Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Average, very old, damp smell. No heating in the room.
Outdated amenities.
Would not return. Hotel is freezing and dirty. As only here for one night it wasn’t worth the hassle of moving rooms. Wouldn’t not recommend
No butter or juice left at breakfast by 9.30am
Queue to check in took 30 mins due to being short staffed.
I could write a book….

Good stay. I think the hotel gets a worse reputation than it deserves. However, radiators weren’t working properly and room was cold. Other guests said the same. And when I was about to leave I had a maid knocking at my door at 9.55am, 5 mins before I was supposed to be out. In general it’s a good value for money hotel and it’s steeped in history
Overall it was a good stay for our 14 day visit. My only plight was the condition of our first room had a missing window pane and resulted in a very cold room. The hotel would then change our room in less then 24 hours.
After our room change we had a much greater room but lacked certain amenities like control of the heater weaker plumbing.
It's in a great location mind you and great for anyone looking to experience the heart of liverpool and it's culture.
Staff was great and very helpful. Will definitely be coming again in future.
Not the best place to stay for a special occasion. Don’t be fooled by the nice look. Right next to loud nagging music that goes on to 4am. Not relaxed. The bath had terrible holes in and marks and the cleanliness wasn’t the best
The Adelphi is unique and its public rooms are impressive, historic and luxurious.
The bedrooms themselves are in need of decoration and the bathrooms are in poor condition.
We had an excellent Christmas lunch in the Crompton Restaurant and the breakfast was good.
It was perfect for a one night stay for me and my son after watching Liverpool.
I would never stay any longer, the place needs a damn good clean especially the bathroom. The whole place needs a lot of TLC.
