Ok room and breakfast was very good. Reception staff and swimming pool staff were excellent. The service at Dinner on Sunday night was awful, the meals were coming out at different times and no desert came out for my son despite asking a couple of times. I also asked to use the special rate discount for my stay, was told they would look into it but not the case on checking out as my payment had already been taken from the card I used to reserve room.

Fab, family and dog friendly hotel. Staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. Food was good. Welcome water /juice available on arrival was a nice touch. Reception /bar/restaurant clearly had a makeover. Room a little dated and noted outside seating area could do with a power wash and a little tlc. No time to use the pool. Would definitely stay again.

First time, not our last
When we visit the area, this is to visit our family. Normally when we stay, we have stayed at the other hotel nearby (which has now started charging for swimming!) so, we decided to finally try the holiday inn, as it has always been a similar price. Well, we are now officially moving to the Holiday Inn. My daughter got the option of a free drink or ice cream during her stay (she chose ice cream of course!) and even though there was a wedding on, it was well organised and there were no issues during our stay. The room was lovely and clean, we were shocked that air condition came with our standard room which is something that you have to pay extra for at the other hotel down the road! The swimming pool was lovely and clean, a little tired and needs a few tiles replacing, but we enjoyed our swim in the morning. Staff were lovely and friendly and we are looking forward to our next stay!
