Had a fantastic night’s stay at The Halyard - wish I had been there for longer! Check in was quick and easy and I was able to get into the room on the 6th floor early. The room was spacious and very comfortable with plenty of hangers and drawer space to unpack. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar were much appreciated. It was quiet and there was no disturbance from other rooms or outside. Lovely smelling toiletries and the corridors event smelled nice - little details that make a stay feel more premium. Room service was reasonably priced and arrived promptly (took around 20 mins at 9pm). Breakfast included a good continental buffet selection and hot dishes too. Service was excellent. Would 100% stay again if I visit Liverpool.

This is a really lovely hotel in the heart of the Ropewalks district. The design and decor are great, the rooms are spacious and well-thought out and the bathrooms are pristine. I used the gym on the top floor and it is functional and clean with amazing views of the city. All the staff were excellent - friendly, warm, professional. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day - enough variety on the hot menu to keep me from getting bored! Loved the fresh juices and the variety of hot beverages too. Some more variety of fruit on the continental table would be appreciated but this is a very small critique. I had a fabulous week there and look forward to being back!

We really weren't sure what to expect from our first hotel stay with a 11-month old puppy, on her first trip to a big city, but our stay at The Halyard Liverpool it exceeded any expectations we could've had. The hotel itself is stunning: beautifully designed and immaculately clean throughout. Our room layout was so unique and thoughtfully designed, though the light switches did take a little getting used to at first. Food and drinks were absolutely lovely, but what really stood out was how pet-friendly the hotel is. There was a dog bed and bowls waiting in the room, and our puppy was treated like a guest in her own right. She received so many treats - she was in heaven! The hotel is also within perfect walking distance of everything the city centre has to offer. The service across the board was exceptional, but a special mention must go to Ella, who we met on our second night. She was incredibly kind, made such a fuss of our dog, and when she found out we were staying for my 30th birthday, she surprised us with a voucher for two free drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch. One thing to note for future guests: a service charge is added to all food and drink orders - whether room service, or at the bar. However, given the outstanding service, it was more than deserved and absolutely worth it. We can’t recommend The Halyard highly enough and will definitely be returning, especially with our very spoiled pup!
