There’s also a sociable central dining table so you can enjoy a family meal together which you can rustle up in the fully equipped country-style kitchen. The lodge also features a refreshing shower room and two tasteful bedrooms: a pretty double and a charming twin. Glass doors open out from the lounge and onto the charming covered patio area. With outdoor furniture, this is a perfect spot for dining alfresco or taking a dip in the private covered hot tub. A grassy enclosed garden extends around the house, with plenty of space for children to play – please note that a small stream runs past the property.
This spectacular area offers miles of peaceful walks, with friendly pubs along the way. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells (11 miles) has a choice of shops and great places to eat. Local activities include water sports, falconry and golf, with nearby attractions including the remains of the Nant-y-Gro Dam, the Elan Valley Visitor Centre and the red kite feeding station at Rhayader, all within 20 miles.
